Six states, six years, and a very clear pattern. 🕯️

Washington, California, Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin, and (of course) our home state of Minnesota keep coming back for the same two candles: Burning The Patriarchy and Let’s Try A Matriarchy. We’re sensing a theme, and we’re here for it.

As we gear up for SIX years of Homebody MN, we wanted to give a little shoutout to the states keeping our candles lit. Thank you for burning with us since day one. Our 6th birthday sale is almost here, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet. Get ready. 👀

We got to thinking, “6th Birthday...what was our 6th ever order?”
Short answer → a friend of the business bought I’m Cold and Shut Up I’m Reading. I think they had a specific vibe going on. 🤣

Mark your calendars for Oct. 10-15, we’re celebrating sales on candles, subscription boxes, and reading retreats during our 6th Birthday Sale!

Well, we were all set to ask for your help getting to 5k followers before our birthday... but you already did it! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who followed, shared, and tagged a friend. We’re so grateful you’re here. Our 6th Birthday Sale kicks off Oct. 10-15th, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. Here’s to the next chapter, and to many more Homebody MN moments together. 🕯️

Say hello to our most popular subscription: the Combo Box 🕯️📚

Every quarter, we hand-pack a little bundle of comfort and send it straight to your door. Here’s what’s inside →

📖 1 New Book — handpicked to your taste, because your TBR pile deserves stories that highlight diverse authors and characters, not just bestseller lists

📚 1 Used Book — gently loved by someone before you, because rereading and rehoming books is a little kinder to the planet (and comes with its own kind of charm)

🕯️ 1 Glass Candle — 100% soy wax, handpicked for the season, made to burn longer and cleaner, so it’s still going strong for your next chapter

It’s everything you need for a proper homebody day. Curl up, light the wick, and get lost in your new (and new to you) reads. Ready to subscribe? Link in bio 🍂
