Hope Community Inc.

Help us spread the word! Hope is looking for a new commercial tenant for our renovated space at the Jourdain! We will be operating an art studio in an adjacent space, and we are excited for a business to find their new home in the 1,860 sqft street-facing space on Portland and Franklin. This space would be ideal for a small cafe offering drinks and lightly prepped foods, and someone open to collaborating with their Hope art studio neighbors!

A victory to celebrate!

A win for our parks! 💚🌳

After weeks of organizing, testimony, emails, letters, and community action, the Board of Estimate and Taxation set the Park Board’s maximum levy at the full 5.86% requested.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke out, sent an email, made a postcard, testified, or helped spread the word. Our parks, programs, workers, and communities deserve investment — and your voices made a difference.

The budget process isn’t over, but this is an important step forward and a win worth celebrating! 🎉
