Time for a life update 🥺🤍

Sometimes we get so caught up in the going and building that we forget to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come.

Over the last few years, I’ve poured my heart into building Candycakedlashes, from training incredible students, meeting the most amazing clients, launching the Candycaked Collective, Candycakedpro and creating opportunities I once only dreamed about.

It hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped me into the woman and entrepreneur I am today.

And now… life is inviting me into a brand new season.

I’m engaged! (still feels surreal to say! 🥹😭)
I’m excitedI and I’m also stepping into a chapter that’s full of unknowns.
Marriage, new opportunities, new dreams, and possibly even new places to call home.
I don’t have all the answers yet, but I do know this:
I’m choosing to embrace the journey.

A few weeks ago, I packed up my car and drove to Durban with an idea I had been dreaming about for months. Last week, we brought that same vision to Harare.

The Candycaked Collective was created because I believe our industry needs more than just courses and social media: we need genuine community.
A space where beauty professionals can connect, learn from one another, collaborate, ask questions, and grow together.

Watching women who had never met before leave as friends, exchange ideas, celebrate each other’s businesses, and remind one another that there’s room for all of us has been the greatest reward.
