It’s been a crazy 8 months since we opened the doors to Makah Beauty, and I’m so incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received so far. 🤎
Sometimes I sit back and think about how this journey started ,doing makeup in my university apartment and now fast forward to having my very own Makeup Suite, designed and curated by me. What a blessing. Truly a moment that went straight from the vision board to reality.
When creating this space, I wanted something chic and modern. I wanted to bring something unique and different to the Zimbabwe beauty scene. Our brand identity was designed by about 6 years ago, and our colours have always been about neutral tones and browns, with Moroccan-inspired vibes that feel welcoming and soothing for our clients. Continuity was very important for us.
We also really wanted to incorporate textures throughout the space to add warmth, depth, and character while still keeping everything soft, elegant, and functional. Creating a space that truly reflects our brand was important to us.
Even though it’s definitely more stressful and comes with a few more bills 😩, I’m truly loving this transition into having our very own storefront beauty suite. And trust me… this certainly won’t be the last.
