💈 Today We Celebrate a Remarkable Milestone 💈
16 July 2026 marks 60 years since a young 15-year-old Angelo began his apprenticeship in the hair industry.
Sixty years later, at almost 76 years old, he's still behind the chair doing what he loves.
"If you love what you do, then you never have to work a day in your life."
Those have always been Dad's favourite words, and he has truly lived by them every single day.
From his early days as a hairdresser to opening Angelo's Barber Shop in Strand 28 years ago, he has dedicated his life to his craft, his customers, and his community. Over the years, he's had the privilege of serving generations of families, creating friendships that have lasted a lifetime.
To us, he is so much more than an incredible barber and hairdresser.
He is a loving father of five, a proud grandfather of twelve, our mentor, our inspiration, and our hero. He has shown us the value of hard work, honesty, humility and treating every person who walks through the door with kindness and respect.
Working alongside him every day is a privilege we never take for granted. Thank you, Dad, for everything you've taught us, for the example you've set, and for building a legacy that we're so proud to be part of.
Most importantly, thank you to every customer who has supported Angelo over the past 60 years. Whether you've been with him for decades or have only recently discovered our shop, you've all played a part in this incredible journey.

💈 CELEBRATING 60 YEARS IN THE HAIR INDUSTRY 💈

This has always been one of Angelo's favourite sayings, and anyone who knows him will tell you he's lived by those words every single day.
On 16 July, we celebrate an incredible milestone - 60 years in the hair industry.
At just 15 years old, Angelo began his apprenticeship, never imagining that six decades later he'd still be doing what he loves every single day.
From his early years as a hairdresser to opening Angelo's Barber Shop in Strand 28 years ago, he's dedicated his life to making people look and feel their best. Over the years, he's had the privilege of serving generations of families, cutting the hair of grandparents, parents, children, and now even grandchildren.
But to us, he's so much more than an exceptional hair professional.
He's a devoted father of five, a proud grandfather of twelve, and the heart of our family. His work ethic, kindness, humility and unwavering dedication have always inspired us. He has taught us that success isn't measured by wealth, but by the lives you touch, the relationships you build, and the example you set every single day.
At almost 76 years old, he still opens the shop each morning with the same passion and enthusiasm he had as a young apprentice. He doesn't do it because he has to, he does it because he genuinely loves people, loves his craft, and believes every customer deserves to leave feeling their best.
Dad, thank you for being our role model, our hero, and the foundation of our family and our business. We are incredibly proud to work alongside you and to continue the legacy you've built with so much love, passion and dedication.
