I think there is something quite profound about experiencing Grace so personally.

September has been a hard knock. A pause I certainly didn’t ask for. But I have always believed that the way we choose to see a situation can change everything.

And ,my reaction to this pause has been calm, collected, and thoughtful.

There have been moments when the sea inside of me has been at high tide. And there have been moments where I have seen the grace of God so clearly.
I am so wrapped up in love — and I really am grateful beyond all the words.

My hands have physically been aching since this pause. I think perhaps it is because I have needed connection during this time. But later, I realised that the connection I have really needed is the connection back to myself.

I have had to reassess.
Adjust.
Surrender.

I am grateful for each and every one of you. For your patience, your kindness, your understanding, and for continuing to show up for me and for Thula Thul’.

October is going to be BIG.

I’ll be running a few different specials, and I really hope to see each and every one of you.

To be South African is the prize.

To know struggle and still know peace.
To have little and somehow find a way to give lots.

To know that I am, because we are.
That, to me, is the heart of being South African.

It is seeing one another. Really seeing one another.
It is making space for the person arriving, and for the person leaving.

It is sitting around a table and sharing whatever there is.
It is checking in. Showing up. Making a plan.

It is laughing when things are hard because sometimes laughter is the only thing you have left. 😂

It is taking care of each other.

I've been fortunate to travel and see pieces of the world, and every time I come home, I am reminded of just how extraordinary this place is.
There is something here that I don't quite know how to explain.
Something spiritual.

A feeling of homecoming.
Of being welcomed before you've even introduced yourself.

Of finding warmth in people who may have very little, but will still offer you what they have.

We are a country that has known immense struggle. Our history is complicated. Our present is complicated. There is still so much that needs to change and so much that we must continue to work towards.
But perhaps that is also part of what makes us who we are.
We know that life isn't always gentle.
And yet we make room for joy.

We know what it is to lose.
And yet we celebrate.

We know what it is to have little.
And yet we give.

We know that none of us exists entirely on our own.
I am because we are.

And that is something worth remembering.

We are the lucky ones.

A new chapter begins in September🤍

After so many beautiful memories in my current treatment room, it's time for Thula Thul' to move.

Our current practice will close from the evening of 28 August 2026, and from 4 September 2026, I'll be welcoming you into a brand new space.

The moment I walked in, I knew it was exactly where Thula Thul' is meant to be.

The new practice is a private solo space with its own en-suite, which also means I can finally introduce body scrubs and body wraps—something I've been dreaming about for a long time.

As we begin this new chapter, there are a few changes to keep in mind:
•Online bookings will be launching.
• Our annual price adjustment takes effect from 1 September 2026.
• Our cancellation and rescheduling policy will be enforced more consistently.

Thank you for every booking, every conversation, and every bit of support that has brought us to this moment.

I can't wait to welcome you into our new little sanctuary. 🤍
