This is what a modern body perm looks like — soft, natural and all about VOLUME.

For this gorgeous client, I used larger rollers to give flat, limp hair more body, movement and fullness — without creating tight curls.

The result? Hair that feels fuller, falls beautifully and is SO much easier to style. 🙌

And that extra body can last around 2–3 months.

So no, perms aren’t just about curls anymore. Sometimes they’re simply the secret to giving fine or flat hair the lift it’s been missing.

I still can’t quite believe I was actually doing this.

Backstage at Redken, the clock was ticking, the adrenaline was HIGH and there was no time to overthink it — just trust my hands, trust the vision and create.

From the colour transformation to those final few pins, seeing the whole look come together was such a moment. ❤️

And then… SHOWTIME.

Definitely one for the memory bank. ✨

One look at these beauties and I knew exactly where they needed to go — straight into my sister’s hair!

No plan, no serious styling session… just a little creativity, lots of laughs and a sister who knows she’ll probably end up being my model.

Sometimes you just have to play, create and have a bit of fun with what you love.
