When it comes to choosing a hairdryer, we know those fancy brands can catch your eye… but here’s a little hair secret: the wattage matters more than you think! 👀
A good wattage means more power, better airflow and potentially faster drying time - which means less time spent fighting with your hair and more time rocking that fabulous blow-dry!
✂️ Our tip? Look for a hairdryer with around 1800–2200 watts for home use, especially if you have thick or long hair. Remember, wattage isn't everything - airflow, heat settings and temperature control matter too!

5 SPRING HAIR MISTAKES YOU’RE PROBABLY MAKING
Spring in South Africa means more sunshine, warmer temperatures, and changing humidity - and your hair notices!
❌ 1. Still treating your hair like it’s winter
After months of dry air and indoor heating, your hair may need extra hydration. Add a nourishing mask or treatment to your routine.
❌ 2. Forgetting UV protection
More time in that gorgeous South African sunshine = more exposure for your hair and scalp. Use UV-protective hair products, especially if your hair is coloured.
❌ 3. Overloading your hair with heavy products - As temperatures rise, your scalp may become oilier. Switch to lighter leave-ins and serums where needed rather than piling on the products.
❌ 4. Ignoring the humidity
Hello, frizz! As humidity increases, moisture can enter the hair shaft and cause unwanted puffiness. A good anti-frizz product can help smooth and protect your style.
