And we're back in Montgomery (for a few days now). It's raining today. Got some work so I'll be parked off at the kid's house so I have wifi. Have transcripts to do and I get to cuddle with Odin (Asher's dog).
Saw HoneyBee (she loves Peter) yesterday and her momma, Christy. Lovely lady, Ms Christy! And yes, HoneyBee was giving me side eye for taking the picture.

Enjoying being back in America. Excited for the arrival of our 1st grandbaby. Heading towards Virginia this week for a gathering. Then we head back to Bama. Already had Starbucks a few times!
Happy 21st to our amazing daughter, Alyssa.
Today is Alyssa's 21st birthday! I had Peter write a song from both of us to her. I am so proud of our daughter. She's starting school once again in the new year. A new journey, a chance to explore and figure out what she wants to be doing. She is a wonderful young woman so full of life, joy, a bit of sass (don't know where she got that). She's such a wonderful daughter and I couldn't have asked for better. She brings such joy to our lives. The house is quiet without her presence but we know she is about to spread her wings once again! I love you Alyssa!

So excited for our son, Zach, and all the other athletes participating in the ! What an absolute honor. Just in case you were wondering what channels will be televising the Games on DSTV - Channel 208 & 209. Then over the weekend, they will expand to 2 more channels, 207 & 210! Let's go SA! 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Relaxed type of day 😎
No electricity for the past 12 hours. In a way it was an excuse and a relief (because we didn’t have power) to no longer watch the Bafana soccer team and what a joke that match was. I would be embarrassed if I was that coach.

Met the 2 guys from Kleinmond Fire Department. They came to open up where the fire hydrant is located. Had no idea we had one on our property. Live and learn! So grateful for the fire fighters!!
I'm looking for someone to stay with from July 20-28th in Edinburgh. Can anyone help me?
I would like to go to Edinburgh so I can support Zach (my son) at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. His wife will be in Edinburgh and we'll travel together from Edinburgh to Glasgow on the day he competes.
Ideally, we fly in from Cape Town on July 20th and leave again on July 28th. I can be flexible on the arrival date.
