A couple of years ago — probably 10 years ago — I had gone to minister somewhere in the southern part of Africa, in Botswana, to be precise. While I was there, I was praying right through the night. Late in the night, I was praying while looking through the window, and I beheld what looked like stars that were peculiar. Hallelujah. When I looked at them, they caught my attention. As I looked steadfastly, I noticed there was something peculiar about them, and they caught my attention more and more. As I steadfastly looked upon the stars, I found that I was “caught up” in the stars. Hallelujah. They had a shape, just like the shape of a triangle or a pyramid. And as I steadfastly looked, I found that I was among the stars. But this time, I noticed they were not stars; they were angels in what looked like a triangle or a pyramid form. They were rotating, moving around in that shape, and maintaining it. And I was caught in the midst of them. I looked above, and there was the Lord Himself. So, when I looked at Him, I was caught up in the same rhythm, and I was singing a song of worship — a beautiful song of worship. You know, you cannot really say “beautiful song of worship,” because those words don’t match up. This was a sweet, sweet song. I could feel it all through my being — a very soothing, sweet song. But it wasn’t in English, and it wasn’t in any language on earth. It was in a heavenly language. But I was caught up in the same “flow,” and I sat with Him, singing this beautiful worship song in that heavenly language. As we were singing to the Lord, and He was right above us, something came from outside. I noticed it because it looked like the angels. It had wings — two wings — and it was flapping, flying like a bird, moving slowly right across us. As I looked at it from the side, from where I was standing up in the air, I noticed the eyes of an angel. I know how the eyes of an angel look; they are very distinct. And I noticed it didn’t have the glory — the glory that was obvious and radiant — on these other angels. And so the Lord told me, “Don’t look at his eyes,” as though in caution. So I turned away, and then we came back to worshiping and worshiping the Lord. And then, all of a sudden, I came back right in my room, continuing to worship the Lord in the same language, the same song, the same sweetness. As I continued worshiping in the same tongue, the same song, the same sweetness, all of a sudden things started fading. I noticed I could not maintain the language. It is very distinct, and you know it; you know every meaning of it. But I could not maintain it. All of a sudden, it was fading, and I noticed everything else was fading. And I was back to normal. But I understood one thing — several things, actually. One thing I understood is that the Lord had cautioned me not to behold evil. An angelic messenger that was evil — the more you behold it, the more you become like it. You are captured by its glory, by that fallen glory, and then you are subdued under its bo***ge.

So, from then on, I knew much better to maintain the revelation of God’s light. Hallelujah. And to not let anything distract me from increasing in the glory of God. Because its sole purpose is to shift your sight away from the glory of God. Once you shift your sight away from the glory of God, it renders His glory less and less impactful in your life. Hallelujah. But the more you behold Him, the more you’re transformed into His glory. And the more you’re transformed into His glory, the less you’re recognized as being merely human. Hallelujah. Things begin to change in your life. There’s a shift in your life; your frequency changes. You get “caught up,” so to say, among the company of heaven. Hallelujah. And so I learned that.
