This soap can be used to wash pretty much anything, from dishes to surfaces to hands - or your whole body - as it is gentle on skin and hair while also being highly effective. 🧼

Bring your own container or purchase one of our sleek black aluminium dispensers (100ml or 300ml). Our soap is sold by weight - R25 per 100g. ⚖️

Did you know? We source our ingredients as locally as possible, using coconut oil from Mozambique, lemon essential oil from the western cape, and water from the Table Mountain spring. 🥥

What were you doing in 2010 to make a difference to this world? Anne van Huyssteen was founding The Apothecary - a brand that follows a ‘make it better’ philosophy, always innovating to serve people and the planet in the best possible way. From washing powder and sunscreen to massage oil and deodorant, @theapothecary_za creates products that are totally harmless to the environment and to our bodies. No chemicals, no weird foaming agents and no plastic packaging (all packaging is either paper, plant materials or returnable glass). “There are always ways to do things better,” says Anne. “It’s just about remembering them.” Anne mixes everything by hand, with recipes she’s developed over more than 20 years, and knows exactly what goes into each product. It’s all totally natural, made with exquisite essential oils, local spring water and organic ingredients wherever possible. This means that whatever you buy at The Apothecary is “good enough to eat”.
