“Tutu up” for 22 years of parkrun. All over South Africa, parkrunners will be tutu-ing their way around their local 5km to celebrate movement and Saturday morning magic.

So grab a tutu, dust off those trainers you’ve been hiding from and join our parkrun.

parkrun Century City takes place every Saturday at 08:00, starting and finishing at Ratanga Park.

Meet Century City Assist, the new way to report an incident.

We’ve built a smarter way to report incidents in Century City. Century City Assist replaces our previous app with a personal dashboard, a chatbot that guides you and a direct line to our Service Operations Centre, all in one place. The existing app will be removed soon, so please switch to Century City Assist today.
There is nothing to download. You can use Century City Assist from your desktop or your phone by opening century-city-assist.centurycity.co.za in your browser.

Saving a shortcut puts an icon on your phone, so Century City Assist is one tap away, just like an app.
On Android
1. Click the link: century-city-assist.centurycity.co.za
2. In the top right corner of your phone, you will see three dots. Click these.
3. Scroll down to "Install and create shortcut" and click it.
4. Click "Create shortcut". This will place the icon on your phone.
On iPhone
1. Click the link: century-city-assist.centurycity.co.za
2. At the bottom of your screen, you will see an icon that looks like a square with an arrow. Click this.
3. Scroll down, select "Add to Home Screen" and click it.

What’s on in our neighbourhood this October.

October is bringing plenty of reasons to get out and about in Century City. The weather’s looking up and so is your social calendar! From market browsing to Garden Day, an outdoor movie and a little after-dark adventure, there’s something happening for every kind of weekend plan.

Start with the Summer Night Market on Urban Square on 9 October, then slow things down at Garden Day at Ratanga Park on 18 October. Fancy a movie under the stars? Galileo: GOAT takes over Central Park on 23 October, followed by the Slow Sunday Market on 25 October. Perfect for a relaxed morning of browsing, eating and hanging out.
If you’re looking for something a little different, head to Intaka Island on 30 October for the Bat Night Hike. Nature, night-time adventure and plenty of good stories to take home.

So round up your favourite people and pick your dates. We’ve already made the plans for you!

We would like to thank all the entrants and everyone who took time to vote. It was a very tough call, as our top 5 are all super pooches. Well done to all.

Dogs are a central part of our neighbourhood and we have so many amazing ones, from big to small, who enjoy the Century City outdoors on the daily. It's only fair that they get some attention!

We'll never ask you to choose between our market and the Bokke! That's why we'll be screening the rugby between the Bokke and Wallabies at our Slow Sunday Market. Kick off at 11:45.

Let the kids be entertained by the magic of Regardt the Magician, grab some pre and post game snacks and drinks, and enjoy the Sunday with us.

Slow, as it is intended to be spent.
