He is a South African landscape and flower painter, particularly known for colourful scenes of the Namaqualand and West Coast.
🎨 About Hubert Liebenberg
He is originally an electrician by profession, rather than someone who trained primarily as a full-time artist.
He has lived in various parts of South Africa because of his work and travels.
He had made Lambertsbaai his home for about two years by 2023.
His favourite subject area is the Namaqua–West Coast region, particularly its wildflowers and colourful landscapes.
He paints largely from photographs he takes himself while travelling, including landscapes and flowers.
His work focuses heavily on colour, light and the natural scenery of South Africa.
