It’s been an incredibly busy week at the salon, and a few things needed my full attention, which meant I simply couldn’t give this week’s episode the time and care that I wanted to.
So rather than rush something just for the sake of posting, I decided to skip this week. ❤️

To every woman who has ever been told she is “too much”… this is for you. ❤️
This Women’s Day, I want to share a few things life has taught me thus far...
Take some things personally 💎 not so you can carry anger, but so you can finally believe people when they show you who they are. Stop turning intentional behaviour into an “oops” just to keep the peace. Protect your heart, know your worth, and give yourself permission to walk away from what repeatedly hurts you.
Speak to yourself with respect💎Spoil yourself. Take yourself out. Buy yourself the bag or shoes. Build a life you don’t need rescuing from. Because when a woman knows she can stand on her own, she stops accepting crumbs just because she’s afraid of being without the whole loaf.
And please… don’t shrink yourself.
🛑 “Full of herself” May your cup runneth over. 👑
🛑 “Too much” Keep taking up space.
🛑 “Aggressive” Keep being assertive.
🛑 “Bossy” Keep leading.
Not everyone will understand your vision. Some will watch quietly to see whether you rise or fall. Some will only applaud once the hard work starts looking like success.
BUT REMEMBER, THE APPLAUSE WAS NEVER THE ASSIGNMENT.
I know where my strength comes from.
I am who I am because of GOD. HE gave me the vision, HE gave me the dream, and when I felt tired, discouraged or even foolish for continuing, HE gave me the strength to keep going.
So I will keep rising👊🏼not just for myself, but with the hope that my journey reminds another woman that she can rise too.
Never allow someone else’s perception of you to become your reality. Be kind. Be genuine. Be strong. Take up space. Chase the dream God placed in your heart.
And when they finally see what you were building all along… smile and give all of the glory to the King of all Kings. ☝🏼❤️
