Of muddling words.

White puffs of cottonwool
Flying so high.
Close your mind to the hub bub
And open your soul
Let nature help heal you
As its magic unfolds.

Lavender Glycerine Tortoise Soap on the first day of Spring in Cape Town.

Lavender essential oil is perfect and safe for children (and adults)..... being gentle and healing on the skin and has a calming and sedative effect that will relax a fussy baby and encourage peaceful sleep.

Today we honour a special resident in my garden, an Angulate tortoise who has been here for many years. The Angulate tortoise's lifespan is more than 30 years and sexual maturity for both males and females is reached at 10–12 years. Many years ago she got a virus and we took her to the vet. It ate away part of her mouth so we hand fed her and bathed her every day in a medicated solution. She was also on an antibiotic. She survived....but couldn't close her mouth properly. She's much better now but we keep an eye on her, especially in Winter and hot days in Summer. This old lady must be around 20 years old and just loves to eat the first Spring flowers.
It's quite normal to find Zac Cat keeping a tortoise company, both love basking in a sunbeam....
