Dragonfly Dreams Lavender

Farm update: Craig stopped by the farm to mow the grass. When I see pictures of the babies growing their roots, I still am amazed by this journey we have embarked on. I love the slight golden leaf change in the tree 🍁.... Makes me so excited to plan for the future and to see the space transform.

Are you thirsty on this warm second summer day? Freshly squeezed lavender lemonade available for porch pickup in Wauconda. $8 bottle. PM me for address and link for payment.

Only 2 more weeks remain at MainStreet Libertyville Farmers Market!!! In honor of this second summer, we will have our usual lavender lemonade 🍋🪻as well as our new floral tea set. Stop by and say hello 😀

This season, we had a wonderful patron who kept coming back to our booth stating she was making a lavender🪻 themed dinner with some friends. After multiple visits, I was curious to how this lavender themed dinner came together, and voila ! Here was the picture she had sent me. Thank you for supporting us to make this lavender themed dinner a masterpiece. From drinks to appetizers to desserts to party favors for the guests, this meal had it all! We appreciate you sharing with us!

Growth is happening!!!Stopped by the farm yesterday to see the progress. Craig planted grass in between the rows and it is coming in nicely!

The first set of the propagates have been cut!!! This time of year is switching gears from harvest and farmers markets to propagation, winterizing the lavender plants, product development, purchasing structures for the farm space, etc. Looking forward to more things coming.

We had such a fantastic mix of kids and adults for our lavender play doh class The Stubborn Sunflower today. After a little education and story time, it was off to creating, mixing, and making our dough smell and feel wonderful! Thanks to everyone for making this a great event 😀
