🥭Some of you know me through Mango Bliss
Spa, but many of you also know that when I'm not taking care of people, I seem to find my way to animals who need a little extra love. 🧡

And then there's Joey….
Almost 16 months ago, Joey came into my life as a hospice foster from the Animal Care Center in St. John. He was an older, three-legged Staffy-🐾Island Coconut Retriever🐾

Joey had spent all of his life outside, chained, after losing a leg from being hit by a car. He was heartworm positive and struggling with his heart and breathing, and I was told we might only have days together.

Well... apparently nobody told Joey. 🙌

Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. He learned what it was like to sleep in a soft bed, have a routine, go on little adventures, be spoiled completely rotten, and, most importantly, know that he was finally home!

And somewhere along the way, my hospice foster became my lil bubba 🐾💜🐾

Now I want to give him every chance possible.
He has upcoming cardiology and pulmonary care to better understand what is happening with his heart and lungs and how we can help him breathe easier and keep enjoying the life he fought so hard for.
