No.36 is my second studio at Salon Republic in Woodland Hills. After being here 10 years, it was time for a new view! This is such an exciting venture for me.
I have been in the hair business since 2000, and with every experience…it has now led me here.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Billy Gallagher, field representative for the CFA Pomona chapter who passed away yesterday following a tragic accident near CSU Chancellor’s Office on Tuesday, July 21st.
Billy dedicated himself to the work of this union and to the faculty he served at Cal Poly Pomona. We will remember Billy as someone who showed up—whether for faculty grievances, for organizing campaigns, and for countless quiet moments of support for members and for his CFA colleagues. His commitment to faculty rights and to the labor movement left a mark on this organization, and everyone who had the chance to work with him.
Our hearts go out to Billy’s family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in power Billy 🤍

I started at Vidal Sassoon training and stayed in Beverly Hills for a little over a decade. At Sassoon, you learn color and cutting techniques, but must let go of one to focus on the other, specializing. I always worked as a team. When I lost the stylist that I worked with, I dusted off my scissors, took classes and jumped in. All of my clients, for the most part, were excited for me expanding beyond my speciality of color. Some clients think I give them the best cuts ever. Some prefer having me just do their color. It is all good. I do not kid myself. I am still a chemical specialist at heart. What a client brings is trust. If there is not, strangely, no matter how much experience I have, if I dont feel on same team (like anything in life), it tends to dampen my creativity and ex*****on 9f service. Still learning.....even 26 years in. So, thank you, Momo. And all my clients that say, "Im with her"..... and even on an off day (gold medalists fall off balance beams and doctors make misdiagnosis)....they still trust me. So, thank you to all my peeps! I love you so much. In my chair, and in life🙏🏻❤️

Thick After 26 years, I still love being the mad scientist with challenges. The detail to blend, cover, lift, tone, is not a sprint, but a marathon. A souffle. Haircolorist know this. The client has no idea. They just know.....we are a magical breed!
Blonde is not just blondem this is 4 months of regrowth. At some point one or two years ago she put some toner on that went a lovely shade of orange/gold, which of course, Lisa the hair fairy sorted. She also has not had a full head of highlights, since 2024. This girl has a birthday coming up and she needed to be BLONDE! Did I share h9w long and thick her hair is? So this is a project .....funzies! I love this, even 26 years in!
