If we wanted to treat summer sun damage this fall, here’s what we’d start doing right now. 👇✨

☀️ Get consistent with SPF. Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning, with reapplication when outdoors. Tip: choose a tinted sunscreen with iron oxides. They provide added protection against visible light, which can worsen dark spots and melasma. We love !!!

🧴 Add targeted brightening care. Ingredients like Vitamin C and Tranexamic Acid can help address uneven tone. Choose products with your provider so you’re treating your pigmentation without irritating your skin.

🧖‍♀️ Start getting regular facials customized to your skin. Focus on what your skin needs, whether that’s brightening, gentle exfoliation, or hydration.

⚡ Start laser treatments. For brown sun spots, we may recommend BBL. For texture and fine lines, a resurfacing laser may be a better fit. Your skin tone, type of pigmentation, and recent sun exposure help determine the right treatment. Tip: ask us about “stacking” treatments to address multiple concerns. We’ll determine the right combination and timing for your skin.
