Hilary Ward Hair

Change has a way of asking us to let go of something we love so we can discover what’s waiting next. With equal parts excitement and sadness, I’m writing to let you know that I’ll be relocating to Santa Fe, New Mexico. My last day behind the chair will be August 15.

It is impossible to put into words what these past 25 years have meant to me. Thank you for trusting me—not only with your hair, but with your lives. Thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, your laughter, your stories, and the countless conversations we’ve shared over the years. I’ve celebrated your happiest moments with you, stood beside many of you through difficult seasons, and watched families grow up one haircut at a time. The relationships we’ve built have been one of the greatest gifts of my career.

Many of you have followed me from salon to salon, recommended me to friends and family, and supported me through every chapter of my life. That kind of trust is something I have never taken for granted, and I will carry it with me always.

While I look forward to what’s ahead, saying goodbye to all of you is by far the hardest part.

Thank you for allowing me to do work that I have truly loved. More than styling hair, you’ve given me purpose, connection, and friendships I will treasure for the rest of my life. I leave with a heart full of gratitude and so many wonderful memories.
