Why are my lash extensions falling out?

Lash shedding is completely normal! Your natural lashes are constantly going through a growth cycle, and when a natural lash reaches the end of its cycle, it sheds and the extension attached to it goes with it.

We naturally lose approximately 1–5 lashes per day, which is why you may notice more gaps as you get closer to your fill appointment.

Other things can also affect retention, including:
• Oil, makeup, and buildup around the lash line
• Not cleansing your lashes regularly
• Sleeping or rubbing directly on your lashes
• Hormonal changes, medications, stress, and seasonal shedding
• Waiting too long between fills

Seeing an extension attached to a natural lash that has shed usually means the extension stayed bonded exactly as it should.

That’s why we recommend regular fills every 2–3 weeks to keep your set looking full and fresh. 🤍

We are ALL going to be taking new clients, and I’m also officially booking lash courses again! 👀✨ I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, but you know… having kids and running a business is NO JOKE 😂 So now that school is starting, I’m excited to get back into the swing of things and post A LOT more!
