5 things I wish I knew 10 years ago…

And if you’re in your 20s right now, I hope you hear these too: 🙌🏼🔥✨

1. You don’t have to become everyone you see online.
Not every trend is for you. Not every aesthetic is for you. Not every beauty standard is for you. Protect the things that make you you. You don’t need to look like every girl or model on your feed to be beautiful. Being yourself will always be more valuable than fitting in.

2. Bet on yourself.
Your career doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Take the risk. Start the business. Learn the skill. Put yourself out there. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you start. You just need to be willing to believe in yourself before everyone else does.

3. You are NOT behind.
There is no timeline you have to follow. You don’t need the perfect career, a huge house, a husband, kids, or your entire future figured out by a certain age. Your life doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s to be a good life.

4. Stop waiting to live until everything is “perfect.”
Take the trip. Make the memories. See the world. Spend time with the people you love. Build a life that feels good to you — not one that just looks good on paper. Your life is happening now.

5. Take care of yourself NOW.
Take care of your body, your health, your skin, your mind, and your peace. Build habits your future self will thank you for. Getting older isn’t something to fear — it’s a privilege.

And honestly, if I could sit down with my 20-year-old self, I’d tell her:

Stop trying so hard to become the woman you think you’re supposed to be.

You have no idea how much you’re going to love the woman you become when you finally give yourself permission to just be HER. 🖤
