First EVER salon color experience! 🥹✨

This beauty came to me after only ever coloring her hair at home with box color. And her last color? BLACK box dye 3 YEARS ago. 😳

Instead of trying to take her super light and fighting all that old color, we worked with what her hair gave us and created this gorgeous, rich dimensional blonde. 🤎✨

The warmth, the dimension, the shineeee 😍 And can we talk about how much those waves brought the whole color to life?!

Not every blonde needs to be icy or platinum. Sometimes a rich, warm blonde is EXACTLY what the hair needs. 🙌🏼

Pretty sure we made her first salon experience a good one. 😉💛

Seven months. SEVEN. MONTHS. 👏🏼

When we started this journey, we were working through black box dye on naturally very fine, thin hair. The goal was blonde—but keeping the hair on her head and HEALTHY was always the priority. 😂

So we took our time. No rushing. No trying to force blonde in one appointment. Just patience, multiple sessions, lots of hair love, and trusting the process.

And LOOK where we are now! 😍✨ Bright, dimensional blonde with her hair still looking and feeling healthy.

Color corrections aren’t always an overnight transformation. Sometimes the best transformations take MONTHS—and this is exactly why. 💛

Healthy hair > rushing the process. Every. Single. Time.

She said purple and green and I said… SAY LESS. 💜💚😂

We completely switched things up and gave those gorgeous curls a whole new personality! The purple and emerald melt and twist together differently with every curl, and I am LOVING how this turned out. 😍

Sometimes hair is supposed to be pretty… and sometimes it’s supposed to be FUN. This one gets to be BOTH. 🔥

We said goodbye to the grown-out blonde and brought the DIMENSION back. 😍

That red mahogany brown against the blonde is EVERYTHING. 🤌🏼 It gives her that gorgeous rich contrast while making those blonde pieces look even BRIGHTER!

Sometimes blonde doesn’t need more blonde… it needs the right contrast. 🤍🤎❤️

She came in blonde and dimensional… and left with the prettiest rich brunette with a little surprise. 💜🤎

We went lavender brown—deep, shiny, chocolatey brunette with just enough violet/lavender peeking through when the light hits it. 😍

And can we talk about that SHINE?! ✨

Sometimes you don’t need to go brighter… you need to go richer. 🤎💜

This precious girl is heading into junior high and decided it was finally time for a little something new! She had never colored her hair before, so we wanted to keep it soft, natural and age-appropriate while giving her that little pop of blonde she was dreaming about. 💛

Just enough brightness to make her feel extra special walking into junior high! 🥹✨ And can we talk about how beautifully those highlights blend with her natural color?!

✂️ THE HAIR HAD TO GO! ✂️

He came in with the full-on flow… and left looking like he aged about 3 years in one haircut. 😂🔥

We took off all that length, cleaned up the sides and back, but kept plenty of texture and movement on top. That transformation though?! 👏

Fresh. Clean. Cool. And ready to show off that new cut. 😎

We packed in the blonde, softened that grow-out, and brightened her ALL the way up while still keeping everything blended and beautiful.
