Oh, what a beauty!

Her conservative demeanor screams class and poise at its finest. Kristina and I have had the privilege of watching our families grow through the years — from engagements, to marriages, to welcoming our little ones into the world. She is one of the very first clients I ever serviced, all the way back when I was testing out the infamous Groupon deals to launch this business nearly ten years ago!

Her consistency and her smile have always been something to admire. And when she is not on mom duty? My girl can TRAVEL — and I am so here for every single moment of it! I am truly grateful that she is a part of the Monét Obree family as one of our founding members.

I not only get the privilege of seeing her in the studio, but also sneaking in a quick conversation as our little ones spend the day together. One day soon I will find the courage to cross state lines on a 10-hour drive with the kids just like she does — and I am already scared thinking about how I will survive those 10+ hour car rides! LOL

Kris, keep being the beautiful-spirited person you have always been — the world needs so much more of you. You are an amazing mom, wife, and friend. I pray your marriage continues to grow, because it is truly inspiring. I pray you continue to travel, because that joy looks good on you. And I pray you continue to find every way possible to fill your cup.

I’m in the process of reading The 1619 Project, and it has tremendously opened my eyes to the unrelenting courage of those who overcame oppression as a people. What strikes me most is how this isn’t a side story in American history — it’s the foundation, even when the telling of it tried to leave us out. This book doesn’t just tell our history — it returns it to us, the way it actually happened.

This is a true testament to my pride in coming from a heritage so zealous and determined — making something out of the scraps we were given, facing disadvantage from history’s past until this day, yet unable to be held back by chains, because the truth always finds its way out. Over 400 years later, and the resilience that began in 1619 is still the blueprint.

Years may pass, but so many in my heritage are honored and remembered for their endurance in the race of life. Salute to freedom.

This month's selection was a very intentional one — she is one of my very first clients, and it just so happens to be her birthday month. Adrienne Ramsey, this one is for you!
I had to take a deep breath before writing this, because where do I even begin?
Adrienne truly lives a double life — and I mean that in the most magnificent way. If you met her on the dance floor or at the city's trap karaoke night, you would never know she operates in a world of calm and relaxation. And if you were lying on her massage table while she told you to "face up" as she quietly closed the door, you would never guess she could out-dance you in a line dance without breaking a sweat. She contains multitudes, and every single one of them is entertaining.
She is diverse in conversation and a true foodie at heart — always willing to try something new. And her range of tone? Absolutely hilarious😆. There is the loud, full gut laugh that fills the room when she is recapping her wildest weekend adventures, and then there is the quiet whisper voice she shifts into when she is sharing something she considers deep or particularly interesting — as if lowering her voice is keeping anyone from hearing. Adrienne, we are the only two people in here!🥴😜🤣😂
I love her depth of knowledge and her genuine passion for the healthcare system and preventative care. She owns her industry and does an incredible job of educating others in her field. When she is on my table, I can count on at least two weeks worth of catching up — including her latest adventures, which apparently now include consitently hanging out with one of the coolest comedians alive, Dave Chappelle, on a first name basis. Needless to say, a day in her world will never leave you bored!
Adrienne, I love you, friend — every hilarious, layered, wonderful piece of you. Thank you for trusting me to love on you in servitude for ten incredible years. We have walked through business seasons and family complexities together, and through all of it, one thing has remained constant — your genuineness, your love, and the realness of exactly who you are. take it, or leave it! That is a rare gift.

Spring is in full bloom, and when I think of her, she is exactly that — a fresh breath of air.

Carolyn's sweet, subtle tone and gentle spirit are refreshing to anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her. Her superhero role as a devoted mom, fused with a genuine willingness to help and connect with others, makes her an undeniable force of divine warmth. Her humbleness precedes her, and her presence is simply contagious — in the very best way.

Oh, how lovely it is to write about her! I live my travel dreams vicariously through Brittany — she truly sees the world, and her cruise ship knowledge rivals that of a seasoned guru. Our conversations are a beautiful blend of wanderlust and entertainment, flowing effortlessly from the latest binge-worthy TV series to the most suspenseful dramas hitting the streaming networks. I always come prepared, ready to hand her my next recommendation fresh off a late-night binge session while burning the midnight oil on the business side of things!
Her stories of family travels make me celebrate her even more — there is something so admirable about simply saying yes, booking the flight, and going. I adore her spontaneity, her infectious laugh, and above all, her impeccable taste in movies.
