Hey friends! If you’re new here, I’m Katelyn — the face behind Rustic Roots • Hair by Katelyn! 🩵✂️

I’ve been a licensed hairstylist for 18 years, and I still absolutely LOVE what I do! From blondes and dimensional color to gray blending, extensions, vivids, perms, cuts, color corrections, and special-event hair — I’m here for it all! 😍

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me being a small business owner & chair-rental stylist, ❤️ Mom to 1 + Bonus Mom to 2, 🥎 softball coach, 🐓 slightly crazy chicken lady 😂, and ☕ probably holding a coffee somewhere in between!

My favorite part of this career has always been the people. I love getting to know my clients, helping them feel confident, and creating hair that makes them leave my chair feeling AMAZING. 🫶🏼
