I will be making changes for credit card fees for 2027. Starting in January 2027 clients will be responsible for paying their own credit card fees. A price change is always scheduled for January every year, but this was not factored in to my small increase. I'm pretty angry about this, especially about the extra charge for using a card on file, which pretty much every client uses. In 2027- If you'd like to avoid the fee plan on bringing exact cash or paying with venmo or cash app. You'll find me at on both.
Extra long and extra thick hair take extra product and extra time. In the new year I need to make sure that everyone is booking their appointments for the correct amount of time- this includes extra thick hair. With product costs going up- unfortunately this is a part of owning a salon. If you know you need a fistful of shampoo and conditioner when you wash your hair you probably have extra thick hair.
