Sometimes you show up to sell some candles & somewhere along the way... you find your people. 🩶

Slow Down Aesthetics started with wax, fragrance, a little bit of chaos, (& this idea I just couldn’t let go of, sure)... but days like this remind me that the best part of building this business has never just been what I make. It’s the people I meet because I decided to keep showing up.

The artists. The makers. The small business owners. The customers who stop to smell every candle. The people who remember me the next time. The conversations between sales. The laughter. The encouragement. The familiar faces slowly becoming friends.

Small business can be exhausting, uncertain, frustratingly messy, & occasionally (okay, ALWAYS, be soooo for real) held together with caffeine & sheer audacity. Then there are days like this... when I look around & realize I am not just building a business. I am becoming part of a community.

I’m so incredibly grateful to have found a little corner of it where Slow Down belongs.

Here’s to the people who make room at the table, cheer for one another, & prove there’s enough space for all of us to create something beautiful.
