Kate-Lyn Birchell
Salt H2O Medspa and IV Hydration

From Caring for Patients to Building a Wellness Community 💙
What happens when a passion for healthcare, a heart for helping others, and a little entrepreneurial courage come together? You get Kate-Lyn Birchell, owner and medical director of Salt H2O MedSpa & Hydration, LLC!
With more than 14 years in healthcare, Kate-Lyn's journey began as a Patient Care Technician at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and grew through nursing, advanced practice, education, and now business ownership. Today, she continues practicing as an APRN in urgent care while mentoring future nurses as a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at Three Rivers Community College.
A lifelong resident of southeastern Connecticut, Kate-Lyn has called Preston home for 13 years. Her love for the community runs deep, and her commitment to caring for others extends well beyond the healthcare setting.
Together with business partner and close friend Carlos Diaz, Kate-Lyn built Salt H2O from the ground up, growing the practice to locations in Westerly, RI, and Gales Ferry, CT, in just two years!

Their mission? To create a personalized, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their wellness journeys. With safety, education, and individualized care at the forefront, Salt H2O is about building relationships—not taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

And when she's not caring for patients, teaching, or running her business, Kate-Lyn enjoys traveling, reading, discovering new restaurants, and supporting local businesses alongside her husband, Kyle, their cat Zoey, and loved ones.

Her favorite saying says it all:
"Home isn't a location. It's who you are with." ❤️

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate Kate-Lyn Birchell and thank her for her dedication to healthcare, education, wellness, and the southeastern Connecticut community.

If you make way to No Name Pub and Islamorada Brewery Distillery in the The Florida Keys you maybe see a familiar sight on the walls.

We love spending time in the Keys cause of the Island Time vibe, which we try to bring to back to CT & RI and create a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere for all. We wish island breezes and salt air for everyone.

Just a friendly reminder that taking a break is important—even for our team! 🩵

We’ll be operating with limited hours while our staff enjoys some well-deserved time off from 7/31 to 8/8. Our Westerly, RI location will continue all services with limited hours and Gales Ferry, CT will only be offering Michaela 🫧🧚‍♀️ | CT & RI LICENSED ESTHETICIAN services! Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We can’t wait to be back to serving you at full speed soon!
