We were slammed Thursday! The Veil Dryer | Hooded Hair Dryer came in super handy. I finished styling my guest curls and brought her to sit under the dryer. While doing that I was able to do finishing touches for another guest. Curls came out juicy, soft, voluminous! 😍

What’s the difference between a silk press and a flat iron?
Not everyone wants their hair to be BONE straight, but with a silk press the goal is bone straight hair (WITHOUT HEAT DAMAGE) The same hair theory applies to all hair… hair burns at 400 degrees…
You should be able to do a silk press at 395 and depending on the hair texture 375.
TURN THE TEMP DOWN. Technique matters when you’re doing silk presses.

Our guest called for a last minute appointment, she has porous, curly hair. When we say silk press… we mean SILK.
