As beauty professionals, we’re seeing more and more AI-generated hair and makeup photos being used as bridal inspiration, and I think this is something worth talking about. 🤍

When you find an inspiration photo you love, ask yourself:

Do I actually love the hair or makeup… or do I just think the woman in the photo is pretty ?

AI can create absolutely flawless skin, impossible hair density, perfect symmetry and features that simply don’t exist naturally. Real skin has pores, texture, fine lines and movement and that’s completely normal.

The same goes for hair. A style shown on extremely thick, long blonde hair can look completely different on fine, shorter or dark hair. Hair color, length, density and texture all change the way a style photographs and how much detail you see.

And with makeup, facial features, eye shape, skin type and coloring can completely change how the same look translates from one person to another.

Inspiration photos are still AMAZING tools — we just have to use them as inspiration, not a guarantee of an identical result.

My goal is always to take what you love about your inspiration and customize it to your hair, your features and your vision while creating something beautiful in real life — not just something that exists perfectly on a screen. 🤍✨

I’m learning your preferences—what you love, what you don’t, how much volume feels like too much or not enough, how secure you like your style, how your hair texture behaves, and most importantly, how your hair actually holds the style over several hours.

And sometimes… the trial isn’t about trialing the artist. It’s about trialing the STYLE. ✨

You might absolutely love a hairstyle in a photo, but once you see it on yourself or wear it for a few hours, you may realize you’d like something different. More volume. Less volume. Looser pieces. A lower bun. More softness. More structure.
