October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it means something especially personal to all of us at Melissa Marie Salon & Spa.
Breast cancer awareness has always held a very special place in Melissa’s heart. After being diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer in 2020, she knows firsthand how quickly life can change—and how much strength it takes to face treatment, recovery, fear, and everything that comes along with a diagnosis.
This October, we are raising money for a close friend of Melissa’s who was recently diagnosed with the same type of breast cancer Melissa faced.
For Melissa, this is more than a fundraiser. It is deeply personal.
Throughout October, we will be offering pink hair feathers and pink tinsel, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to her to help ease some of the financial stress that can come with treatment. Our hope is to allow her to focus a little less on bills and a little more on healing, her health, and the people she loves.
Every pink feather and every strand of pink tinsel represents something bigger—a reminder that no one should have to walk through breast cancer feeling alone.
Whether breast cancer has touched your own life, your mother, sister, daughter, friend, partner, or someone else you love, we invite you to stand with us this October.
