There’s lots of fall fun going on in town this weekend & we decided it would be the perfect time to do a little pop up at our fave spot downtown Waupaca at Huck & Finn!!! We would love to share some tallow and skincare love with you all so please stop by!!! There WILL be

Cooking tallow doesn’t get enough attention and neither do these cute little molds we make! Tallow is the absolute bees knees for cooking, especially in cast iron. Switching to tallow and clean cookware is a very simple way to start moving toward cleaner living. The tallow has a smoke point between 400-480 degrees; meaning as hot as this pan is, your oil is not going to burn. And I could cook an egg on it in 2 min flat and it will not stick. This pan doesn’t leave my stove, we cook almost everything in it, and I never have to wash it (just rinse/ wipe out as needed). Why the molds? Because well rendered tallow is solid at room temp and who wants to wrench it out with a spoon when you can have this sweet little jar full of cute little shapes?! Just drop in one or a few and you’re off to the races! Shoot us a message or they will be available at the Autumn Market at the Barn this weekend! We have our seasoning sticks available as well 🍳💙!
Our first market of the year is finally almost here- it’s been too long and we’re not letting the weather ruin the fun this year! We’ve been whipping, jarring and labeling like crazy and have lots of fresh product ready to love on your skin. And of course Erin’s famous granola will be there too! Hey friends! 👋
First of all I’ve made a commitment- no more chat GPT for me (ikyk why) so forgive the lack of perfection, but we are going to embrace authenticity here.
Now for the fun part…I made soap! But not just any soap- liquid soap with a foaming pump! The benefits of a pure handmade product with the convenience of no bars dropped in the shower 🙊😅. It’s about as clean as it comes with no dyes, fragrance oils or literally anything that’s not needed in soap. It’s just oils, lye and water. And for fun you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oils if you’d like to add some smelly smells!
To be honest this is not my first batch. Our families have been using this for a while now and we’ve sold a bit here and there. It took me a moment to gain the confidence to really put it out there- tweaking oils, getting the texture and packaging just right.
So if I may toot my own horn for a moment- this stuff is fan-freaking-tastic! I’ve been using it as hand soap in the bathroom, putting it in my kids’ baths, washing my body and face (I have dry skin), and have given it to people with oiler & acne prone skin and gotten GREAT feedback! It’s cleansing but will not dry out your skin and feels oh so nourishing!

Can’t tell ya how much we love this lady! Though we’re super sad for your sunburn we’re so glad to aid in the healing process! As a gals with fair complexions, and no longer (eh hem) spring chickens, sun damage is a huge motivator for why we do what we do! For my crepey hands to sun spots & dry skin- our products have been a game changer and give piece of mind that I’m not further messing up my endocrine system by using it!
