Lady Lady | To Us : Happy International Women’s Day. Here’s why I love US so much:

Ever since I can remember, I had the best example of a woman.

Someone nurturing.
Someone loving.
Someone sacrificial.
Soft and feminine, yet incredibly hardworking.
Self-driven. Respectable. Powerful in her own right.

A true virtuous woman.

That was my mom.

She was my first introduction to loving myself as a woman… and loving other women.

And as I grew older, God blessed me with an incredible core group of women friends who have been with me through thick and thin. Women who pour into me, challenge me, celebrate me, and remind me that sisterhood is one of life’s greatest gifts.

That’s why I say it with my whole heart:
We do this for us.

For the women who came before us.
For the women beside us.
And for the young women coming after us who deserve to see what is possible.

Yes, we can go far alone…
but we go further together.

And that’s why I take every opportunity to celebrate us.

Because being a woman isn’t always easy. Especially in today’s world with so many expectations, pressures, and moving parts. But even in the midst of it all, I truly believe we are one of the strongest and most powerful forces of leadership and change.

🎂 Jan 26 | New Chapter 🎈. Here’s some things I learned along the journey.

A New Era Has Begun… 📰✍🏽

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to live a life of ease, joy, and purpose.

Thinking I was choosing the most lucrative and secure path—I started my college journey as a pre-med student & quickly realized it was not for me! I eventually switched to pre-nursing, while majoring in psychology. Unbeknownst to me, I graduated ready for the life & business I would build.

At 23, I opened my first salon alongside my family. Almost 8 years later, Classic Beauty Studio still stands—rooted, refined, and purpose-led.

Along the way, I built Women In Power Collective, grew two teams, launched Run The World Experiences, and have been recognized by Forbes, Essence, Marie Claire, while securing major brand partnerships/ sponsorships.

I did all of this while prioritizing my health, wellness, and balance—living the life of my dreams. Now, I’m helping other entrepreneurs do the same: build thriving businesses while living fully.

Whether you’re starting out, feeling stuck, or ready to scale, I’ll guide you on brand strategy, community building, strategic partnerships, mental wellness, and creating a business that supports the life you want.

December | Dear 2025,

You owe me nothing 🫶🏾

From the stretches that tested me, to the milestones that surprised me… from the setbacks that slowed me down, to the highlights that reminded me who God is — this year has been so good to me, even in the moments that didn’t feel good at all.

Thank You, God, for carrying me through another year. For protection I didn’t see, lessons I didn’t ask for, doors that closed in love, and the ones that opened right on time. Thank You for the growth, the refinement, the faith that deepened, and the rest I’m still learning how to choose.

As we close out the final days of 2025, I’m allowing myself to reflect — not with pressure, but with gratitude. I’m praying for ease. Ease in my mind. Ease in my body. Ease in my spirit. I’m releasing the need to rush, prove, or perform.

I’m stepping into 2026 with expectancy. Expecting alignment. Expecting expansion. Expecting overflow in the areas God has already prepared. I know 2026 will be bigger and better — not just in accomplishments, but in peace, clarity, and obedience.

Most of all, I’m committed to resting in God’s will. Wherever He leads, I’ll follow. Wherever He asks me to pause, I’ll rest.

Here’s to closing this chapter full… and opening the next one surrendered. 🤍✨
