I’ve been thinking about Trinidad a lot lately 🌺

Missing the pace of it. The way mornings feel different there — slower, warmer, more full of people actually being present with each other. The food. The colour of everything.
I think a lot of what draws me to slow, intentional living comes from watching that as a child and not having a name for it yet. It was just life. It was just home.

If you’re from the Caribbean or anywhere with that kind of warmth built into the culture — you know exactly what I mean.
