My client came in with cinnamon balayage inspo, calico hair inspo, and a love for copper. But after our consultation, she looked at me and said, ‘I don’t want to think about it. I just want you to do you.’
And honestly? That’s my favorite kind of creative freedom.
So I created this custom marigold cinnamon copper with a peekaboo calico underneath and cinnamon balayage throughout.
Because when people ask me what my favorite color is, my answer is always the same: creating a custom look that’s tailored to the person sitting in my chair.
And THIS is what we came up with! Tell me… would you wear it?”
She wanted blonde that complemented her skin tone, and we made it happen! 🤎✨
Working through 2-year-old black color history is no easy feat, but with a strategic approach and realistic expectations, we got her birthday blonde JUST in time for her 23rd birthday and her flight to PARIS! 🇫🇷🥂
Because the goal is always beautiful color AND healthy hair. ✨

Still feeling inspired after THE TEXTURE OF CHANGE™
I’m beyond honored to have supported Tippi Shorter Rank over these past two days for such a phenomenal event where texture, creativity, artistry, and innovation collided in the most beautiful way.
There’s something powerful about being in a room filled with such a diverse group of individuals, all connected by a shared passion for our craft. The talent, intentionality, excellence, collaboration, and commitment to pushing our industry forward were truly unmatched.
And to have the opportunity to work alongside and support so many people I deeply admire? That made this experience even more special. To witness their artistry, learn from their brilliance, and contribute to something so meaningful is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

The color was already processing when I realized we needed to pivot. After talking through the vision, we decided to take it deeper, warmer, and more dimensional—with less copper and red and more cinnamon + chocolate.

This look was inspired by a last-minute switch-up. She originally sent me photos of a color she’d done in the past, but on the day of her appointment, we decided to spice things up with a coppery red-brown in the back. And let me tell you, that little switch made ALL the difference! 😍
I love when my clients challenge me creatively and push me outside of my usual comfort zone. This blend of rich red brunette and bright blonde was just the right mix of bold, dimensional, and fun!
Now this mama of four has a fresh new look, a little extra confidence, and the perfect hair to step into fall feeling HERSELF! 🍂✨

I hope today marks the beginning of something powerful. Nolan Wells did not drown. He was not simply out with friends. He was surrounded by people who, in my belief, know exactly what happened to him.
