Here’s exactly how I’m training to build muscle and reshape my body in midlife:

I lift heavy to create hypertrophy—the process of challenging the muscles so they adapt and grow.

My heavy lower-body day includes:

• Smith RDLs: 90 lbs + bar
• Hip thrusts: 270–300 lbs
• Leg press: 270 lbs
• Split squats, hamstring curls and cable kickbacks

I support that training with enough protein, balanced nutrition and proper recovery.

Pilates complements my lifting by improving core strength, mobility, stability, posture and muscle control.

The combination is the magic: lifting builds the muscle, nutrition supports it, and Pilates helps me move—and lift—better.💕

✨ Everyday Rituals ✨

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how different life feels when you stop rushing through the things you do every day and start doing them with intention.

My morning skincare has become one of those moments for me.

A few quiet minutes to take care of my skin, think about what I’m grateful for, and decide what kind of energy I’m bringing into the day.

And as an esthetician, I’ll give you another reason to slow down: your skincare wants you to. 🤍

Active products need time to work. Taking that extra minute between steps isn’t just good for your nervous system—it can help you get more out of the products you’re investing in.

Today’s ritual: Dermalogica resurfacing cleanser + COSRX exosome peel-off mask. This combination has quickly become one of my favorites for that smooth, fresh, ridiculously glowy finish. ✨

Your routine doesn’t have to be elaborate to become a ritual.

Slow down. Be present. Let the products work. Think about everything that’s already going right.

Then go have the kind of day you decided you were going to have. 🤎

This week I’ve been struggling with a UTI, and I think it’s important to talk about why you may start to see an increase in them during perimenopause 👀
Apparently perimenopause wasn’t satisfied with hot flashes, sleep issues and mood swings… so she added a UTI to the group chat. 🙃

As estrogen declines, the tissues of the va**na and urinary tract can become thinner, drier and more vulnerable to irritation and infection. That means UTIs can suddenly become more common during perimenopause—even if you’ve never struggled with them before.

This is part of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), and it deserves to be talked about without shame. **In my opinion the name should be changed to reflect the fact that it often starts in PERI-menopause** If you’re noticing recurring UTIs, dryness, burning, urgency or discomfort, talk with your healthcare provider. You’re not imagining it—and you don’t have to just live with it.

Save this for yourself or send it to a woman who needs to know. 💕

In my opinion, it’s crazy to continue to taunt the woman who’s husband you were sleeping with for two years AFTER she decided to let him stay to work things out.
When people live in fantasy land and have affairs- they tend to be happy. Because it’s not real life- and all you focus on is the fantasy of it. Everything is heightened.
When you’re trying to figure out how someone truly feels, you just need to look at the actions they take. And ultimately if a choice is made, and you’re not it? You have to accept that.
It doesn’t matter if he loved you. It doesn’t matter if he was selling you dreams about what a life together could be. Because HE IS MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE.
He could’ve gone to his wife and asked for a divorce. He didn’t. So whether it’s that he truly wanted to work things out, or that he didn’t want to take the financial hit 🤷🏻‍♀️ Really is irrelevant.
A choice was made, and it wasn’t you.
This digital footprint that’s been created is pretty bad. For relationships, for any hopes of parlaying this into a social media career… Brands don’t typically partner with mistresses who antagonize mothers of small children. Just saying.

I have no idea why the text graphics are doing what they’re doing lol I just wasn’t about to reshoot this 🤷🏻‍♀️✨
Skin remodeling (getting tighter) takes up to a year, and can take a bit longer than that. Protein is what’s broken down and the amino acids are what your body uses to produce more collagen and elastin. That’s what makes skin tight.
So hit your protein goals- because gravity is ALWAYS working against you (surgical interventions last about 15 yrs before you’ll see sagging again) 💛

We only get a few more weekends of summer. ☀️

Don’t spend them thinking about your razor.

Imagine waking up, throwing on the bikini, saying yes to the last-minute beach trip, or heading out on date night without wondering if you shaved… or if the razor burn is about to make an appearance.

✨ That’s the freedom of waxing.

The first wax is the hardest—but it’s also the one that changes everything.

After that, your hair grows back:
• Thinner
• Softer
• Much less dense
• Without that rough, prickly regrowth shaving leaves behind

If your skin has become irritated from years of shaving, waxing gives it a chance to calm down and become smooth again over time.

Come back to the smooth side. 👑

August appointments are officially open. Book now while your favorite time is still available. 💛

Unfortunately, I’ve seen far more heartbreaking stories than this over the last 26 years. Specifically within the last 15 years I’ve noticed a very specific trend…

This isn’t about being cynical—it’s about being realistic.

One of my client’s mothers inherited a small cottage in Massachusetts after a lifetime of working as a cashier. It was essentially all she had. Over the years, her on-and-off boyfriend offered to help with projects around the house. They never discussed payment because he volunteered.

When the relationship ended, he sued her for $100,000 in “services rendered.”

She ultimately settled for $60,000.

Her daughter ended up helping her pay it.

Relationships don’t always end the way they begin. When they do, courts don’t decide cases based on what feels fair—they apply the law.

Do yourself a favor and legally protect your assets. Whether it’s a boyfriend, fiancé, or husband, have the uncomfortable conversations now instead of the devastating ones later. 💗

This is exactly the kind of conversation we’ll be having on the podcast—real stories, real life, and the things women wish someone had told them sooner.

Real Housewives of London is exactly what I wanted it to be.

It feels aspirational.

The women genuinely seem successful, genuinely wealthy, and the fashion? 😮‍💨 Give me all the tailored blazers, structured coats, and quiet luxury moments.

And of course… we already have fascinating personalities to dissect. I couldn’t help noticing the similarities between Panthera and Joellen from RHORI. Two women who both grew up with toxic mothers, and developed personalities that create so much conversation. It’s an interesting reminder that childhood doesn’t determine one outcome—but it plays such a huge role.

But mostly? This franchise is just… a brain vacation.

Sometimes I don’t want to watch people throwing wine every five minutes. I want beautiful homes, gorgeous clothes, witty conversations, and just enough drama to keep it interesting.

I’m all in. 🇬🇧🍸

Are you watching? Who’s your favorite so far?

Thinking about booking your first Brazilian? Save this first. 👑

There are a few things I wish every first-time client knew before walking into their first appointment.

✨ Schedule it the right way.

If you shave, do one final full shave about 14 days before your appointment. This gives your hair the ideal length for waxing without making you wait a month (which most shavers hate 😅).

It also lets me see where your hair is in its growth cycle so I can get you on the right schedule. After your first wax, I typically recommend coming every 4–5 weeks. When you’re consistent, you’ll enjoy about 2 weeks with little to no noticeable regrowth before new hair starts coming in.

☕ Skip caffeine & alcohol the day of your wax.

Caffeine can increase skin sensitivity, making your wax sting more than necessary. Alcohol can also increase sensitivity and make you more prone to minor bruising or pinpoint bleeding.

✨ Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment.

Removing dead skin helps the wax grip the hair—not excess skin—making your wax more effective and often more comfortable.

🌸 A few more things to know…

• Try to avoid waxing right before or during your period if possible. Hormonal shifts can make your skin more sensitive.

• With regular waxing, your hair often grows back finer and less dense. That’s exactly what we want!

• If razor burn has been your biggest struggle, waxing may be a game changer. Since there’s no blade scraping the skin, many clients notice far fewer bumps and irritation.

• Over time, skin that’s become rough from years of shaving often becomes noticeably smoother and softer.

✨ The first wax is the hardest. Consistency is where the magic happens.
