✨ It’s been a minute, so let’s reintroduce myself! ✨

Hi, hello, welcome! I’m Kayley, the heart & hands behind Karma By Kayley, professional hair enthusiast, occasional chaos coordinator, personality hire, and firm believer that a good hair day can solve at least 87% of your problems. 😉
I’ve been behind the chair since the fall of 2021 and am lucky enough to work alongside my incredibly talented best friends at Rustic Roots Hair Co. 💫

I’ve always loved anything involving beauty, creativity, and being just a little extra. That led me to study Musical Theatre and Entrepreneurship at Arkansas State University (Wolves Up! 🐺) before ultimately finding my true calling at Arthur’s Beauty College in Jacksonville.

If you ask my salon sisters or clients to describe me, you’ll probably hear high-energy, enthusiastic, positive, and possibly, “Does she ever stop talking?” 😂 I have a whimsical outlook on life and truly believe that the energy you put out into the world has a way of finding its way back to you.

While I love all the services I offer, I’m especially known for working with curly girlies, creating dimensional brunettes, dreamy coppers, and copper blondes.🤎🧡

When I’m not behind the chair, you can probably find me digging through a fabulous vintage market, reading a book, planning my next trip, or hanging out with my little family. I’m a proud wife to my hardworking husband, Justin, and mom to our human son, Stetson, four-legged fur baby, Skylos, and turtle, Frankie…because apparently having just one type of child was too boring. 😂🐶🐢

Life is a little collection of moments, stories, and people we meet along the way and I’m so grateful that my chair gets to be part of so many of those stories. If you’ve been thinking about sitting in my chair, consider this your sign from the universe… or at least from Facebook. 😉

With all things fall around the corner, my September and my October are both starting to fill up, so please make sure to take advantage of pre-booking to ensure you get your desired date and time!

So unfortunately I am extremely challenged in all things technology and have somehow managed to delete 5 years worth of hair photography from this page by mistake.
Since this is a hair page and pictures are kind of the ✨entire point✨ of you clicking here in the first place, I will be doing a mass drop with my most recent and notable work for reference photos for you to peruse at your leisure.

✨Today is my Beauty Birthday!✨

Four years ago today, I graduated cosmetology school and began the most wonderful journey! In those 4 years, I have had so many amazing experiences and connections! One of the things they teach you in cosmetology school is that a client will become your friend faster than a friend will become your client and I have been so blessed to have so many clients become true friends. Not only have you allowed me to be part of so many of your monumental moments, so many of you have also gotten to be part of mine from buying our first home, getting married, taking part in opening a new business, and now becoming a mom.

Thank you to my for allowing me to do what I do and making my small business dreams come true. Everything I am and everything I have is thanks to your love and support. With each passing year, I fall more and more in love with what I do and I can’t wait to see what year FIVE has in store for us. I am truly blessed beyond measure!💗💗💗

My beautiful Karma Krew, I have missed you!!

May 26th we welcomed our beautiful, healthy boy into the world and we’ve been soaking up ALL the newborn snuggles and quality family time ever since. As much as I’ve loved being home with my family, I’m so excited to get back behind the chair again in just a few short weeks!

My first day back full time in the salon is August 4th and my books for August are already filling up. My first available opening for an after hours appointment is currently August 17th and my first available Saturday is September 19th. Please feel free to reach out to me with any inquiries or to get scheduled while I have the availability! I love you all and I’ll be seeing you very soon!💕

…and just like that, my maternity leave has officially arrived! The last 9 months have been such a wild ride and I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for everyone and their patience with me as I adjusted to each phase of pregnancy. I was determined to work until 39 weeks and I’m proud to say I was able to do that with your support.

As I step away for the summer, I want to assure you that should you need anything at all in my absence, I leave you in Abby and Jodie’s extremely capable hands. Please take care of them in return and know I have FULL trust in all they do. I plan to start back taking clients the first week in August, but keep an eye out because I may open a select few slots earlier than that if I’m feeling up to dipping my toes back in early. I am so beyond excited to welcome my precious son into this world and I can’t wait to share this next phase of motherhood with you when I return.
