I’ll never be too old to wear what I want!

Normalize telling your friends the good news without making yourself smaller first. 👏🏼

I’m 45, and these are 5 things I will NEVER stop doing…

1. Wearing whatever the hell I want.
Crop tops, short skirts, trends… if I like it and I feel good in it, I’m wearing it. There is no expiration date on personal style.
2. Taking care of myself without feeling guilty about it.
Making time for myself doesn’t mean I love my family any less. I spent a lot of years putting everyone else first. There’s room for me too.
3. Taking care of my skin.
SPF, skincare, treatments, injectables if I want them. I’m not trying to look 25. I just want to take care of the skin I’m in.
4. Reminding myself I’m NOT too old.
Not too old to wear it. Not too old to try it. Not too old to start something new. Not too old to change my mind. And neither are you.
5. Having fun.
Going to concerts. Dancing. Traveling. Being ridiculous. Staying out late when I actually feel like it. 😂 Getting older does not mean life has to get more serious.

I refuse to spend the second half of my life making myself smaller because of some imaginary rule about how women are supposed to act as they get older. 🤍

Being fake takes way too much energy guys. Stop doing it. Trying to say the right thing, be liked by everyone, explain yourself, make everyone comfortable… exhausting. At some point you realize not everyone is going to like you anyway. Might as well be yourself.

Still a little salty about last night. 🫠

BTS was promoted as HEADLINERS, ARMY showed up and tuned in… and then we got a set that was over before we could even process it.

Maybe that was always the plan. Maybe it wasn’t. But when you use BTS to build that much hype around an event, I think it’s fair for fans to expect headliner-level stage time.

They absolutely killed the time they were given, obviously. 💜

But FOUR songs?! iHeart… I just wanna talk. 😭

I’m someone who prefers a gradual approach and being able to choose what makes sense for my body and my life has made a huge difference for me.

Different formats work for different people…this is just what’s worked best for me. 💛
