We know—you get your braces off and the first thing you want is a bright, fresh smile! 😁 But sometimes, waiting is actually the best thing you can do for your teeth.
After braces removal or dental work, your teeth and gums can be more sensitive than usual. Whitening too soon can increase sensitivity and cause unnecessary irritation.
🦷 After braces: We recommend waiting at least 2–4 weeks after removal before whitening. This gives your teeth and gums time to settle and allows any areas of temporary sensitivity to calm down.
🦷 After dental work: Timing depends on what was done. Fillings, crowns, veneers and other restorations may require your dentist to confirm that your teeth and gums have healed before whitening. Whitening products only lighten natural tooth structure—not crowns, veneers or fillings—so whitening too soon can also leave you with an uneven shade.
✨ Our rule of thumb: Let your mouth heal first, then brighten. If you’ve recently had extensive dental work, are experiencing sensitivity, or your dentist has given you specific aftercare instructions, follow your dentist’s timeline before booking whitening.

Sugaring problem…the hair is so thin, the paste wasn’t grabbing it. Not a terrible problem to have, so we switched up the paste.
I rarely use a soft paste, but we gave it a try…and I got stuck. But…I was able to work my way out of it and she left smooth and hairless.
