Raw onion is loaded with organosulfur compounds (allicin, thiosulfinates) and quercetin — both with documented antimicrobial and antiviral activity. Quercetin in particular has been shown to inhibit viral replication and reduce histamine release, which is why it shows up in a lot of acute immune protocols.
Onion is also one of the highest dietary sources of quercetin on earth — red onion skin contains up to 100x more quercetin than the flesh.
Cooking degrades both compounds. Raw preserves them.
Testosterone
Rat studies show 17–76% increases in testosterone after 20–28 days of onion extract, through increased luteinizing hormone (LH), reduced oxidative stress in the te**es, and improved insulin sensitivity. Human data is still limited and needs more trials.
Hair regrowth (topical, not eaten)
A 2002 study in the Journal of Dermatology applied raw onion juice to the scalps of patients with alopecia areata twice daily:
– 74% saw regrowth at 4 weeks
– 87% saw regrowth at 6 weeks
– Men responded at 93.7%, women at 71.4%
– Control group (tap water): only 13%
Note: this was topical application on autoimmune patchy hair loss — not pattern baldness, and not from eating it.
I eat raw onion when I’m sick

GUT HEALTH PROTOCOL ⬇️
Repair your gut lining:
For the repair time, cut out alcohol, gluten, dairy. Start intermittent fasting to increase motility and give your body a chance to repair. If you were to take supplements take:
Colostrum, collagen, L- glutamine, bone broth (good brand, Kirkland gives me headaches).
Detox:
Luna lab herbal cleanse formula - 30 days. I do this every 6 months. Helps remove parasites, can help with bacterial/fungal imbalances.
Ferment your own yogurt for probiotics. NOTE: the reason I say cut out dairy but ferment your own yogurt is because of the lactose. Lactose can be hard on the gut lining. When you ferment your own yogurt. The bacteria can breakdown lactose, making it gentle on your gut. I have a pinned video on how to make it
Focus on fiber when your gut can tolerate it. I rotate between psyllium husk and apple fiber in powder form along with different fibers foods, but to be honest I eat pretty protein/fat heavy. Most of my fiber comes from those powders. Also it is hard to find vegetables not sprayed with pesticides now days.
Here’s what I do:
Wormwood
Black walnut
Clove
Garlic
+ chlorella as a binder
(run for 30 days — at least once a year, ideally every 6 months)
While cleansing:
– stay hydrated
– prioritize movement
– support digestion
After:
→ add in quality probiotics (ferment your own yogurt) I have a video on that!
Comment detox for a link to the Luna lab herbal cleanse formula. It has all these ingredients in it at these doses. This is what I have been doing for the past 3 years
The standard protocol — kill phase first, then rebuild — works for most people. But for severely inflamed guts, it backfires. Die-off symptoms, herx reactions, weeks of feeling worse. The order has to flip.
You can probably start with antimicrobials if:
Occasional bloating, some food sensitivities, sluggish digestion. You tolerate most foods even if a few cause issues. Baseline is “off” but not debilitating. This is most people.
You should repair the lining first if:
IBS or an IBS diagnosis. You react to almost every food, even “safe” ones. Daily severe bloating. You’ve tried protocols before and felt dramatically worse. Histamine intolerance or skin flares with most meals. Chronic fatigue alongside the gut symptoms. This is Tier 4 — a hypersensitive system that can’t tolerate die-off yet.
For this group, the sequence is:
Low FODMAP temporarily. Not the fix — a tool to lower fermentation while the gut calms.
Lower stress. Chronic sympathetic activation keeps the barrier loose and motility stalled. Breathwork, sleep, walks.
Intermittent fasting. A 14–16 hour overnight window lets the migrating motor complex sweep the small intestine clean.
Gut lining support. L-glutamine for epithelial repair, slippery elm, marshmallow, and aloe to soothe the lining, quercetin to calm mast cells, and clinically studied probiotic strains to rebalance. Timeline: 60–90 days.
Once symptoms settle, then bring in antimicrobials.
YOU ARE NOt ALLOWED TO COMMENT UNTIL U READ THIS 🔫🔪
→ Raw milk’s bacterial count is whatever happened to land in the bucket. Long-fermented yogurt is a controlled colony of strains you selected — Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, whichever ones your gut actually needs.
→ Raw milk still contains full lactose. 24+ hour fermented yogurt has had that lactose pre-digested by the bacteria — which is why people who can’t tolerate dairy can often handle properly fermented yogurt.
→ Bacterial density in a long-ferment isn’t even close. We’re talking billions of CFUs per serving vs. an unpredictable count in raw milk that varies by season, animal, and handling.
This is not the yogurt at your grocery store. Store-bought yogurt is fermented for 4–6 hours, loaded with sugar, and most of the live cultures are dead by the time it hits the shelf. I’m talking about a 24+ hour ferment at home, where the bacteria have actually finished their job.
Choose your strains. Predigest your lactose. Get the count that actually moves the needle.
How to detox from parasites
I will still consume bread on occasion. I do my best to limit. If you are trying to heal your gut it’s one of the worse foods to consume
SIBO effects ALOT OF people. Usually the cause is:
- taking antibiotics (even once)
-PPIs
- low motility ins the gut (glp1s, low movement, processed foods)
- f***l microbes migrate from the large intestine to small.
- alcohol consumption
-food poisoning
SIBO is usually a down stream consequence of these things. So let’s fix the damage and THE ROOT CAUSE. Following Low FODMAP is great to not “trigger” these symptoms, but it is not the fix all. People who have these issues and switch to carnivore often swear carnivore healed them and we weren’t meant to eat vegetables, BUT their bacteria in their small intestines would ferment these HEALTHY food early causing their body’s to have reaction. They turn to carnivore and attribute their body’s working correctly to the diet, rather than the fact that diet is basically LOW FODMAP (not the case with everyone) but a large majority people would benefit from carnivore, BUT it would not fix the real issue. So how do we fix it?
Anti-microbials and repair the gut and reintroduce good bacteria to help regulate the environment.
Luna lab - microbiome balance formula
Will administer berberine 2x daily with a formula to repair the gut and reintroduce probiotics. Do this or get the ingredients somewhere (safe) and follow this protocol.
