I’m excited for the day when it’s normalized that women can — and sometimes only have the option to — have one child.
I once carried the guilt of feeling like I wasn’t “giving” Ruby a sibling… which now feels like such a strange thought to even have carried — but that’s the weight society places on women sometimes.
Motherhood was never meant to be measured by how many children we have. The love, devotion, and depth of a mother’s heart isn’t determined by the size of her family.
Every family looks different. Every journey to motherhood looks different. Some choose one, some wish for more, and some paths are written differently than expected.
One child can be a whole, beautiful, complete family. 🤍
