Some days remind you exactly why you do what you do. Yesterday was one of those days. ❤️

It started with a longtime client calling because she was very sick. She didn’t want to sit in urgent care or be exposed to more illness, so I went to her home to care for her.

She’s working to regain enough strength to travel to Ireland for her daughter’s wedding—a moment that means everything to her. Sitting beside her and hearing how deeply she wants to be there reminded me why I became a nurse.

Nursing has never been just a job. It’s the privilege of caring for people during vulnerable moments, offering comfort, and helping them hold on to hope for the milestones that matter most.

On my way to her home, I received a call asking whether we could provide IVs for Jason Aldean and his band. We had just finished the Super Girl event and had almost no supplies left, so I honestly wasn’t sure how we would make it happen.

But somehow, everything came together.

A wonderful physician friend loaned us the supplies we needed, allowing us to care for members of Jason’s band. One musician was sick and needed support so he could perform.

We believe Jason may have given up his own IV for his bass player—and if that’s true, what a thoughtful and selfless gesture.

Then, their tour manager surprised Bryce and me with pit passes. Since Bryce’s birthday had been the day before, the evening became an unexpected and unforgettable celebration. 🎶

From helping a woman regain strength for her daughter’s wedding in Ireland to helping a musician feel well enough to take the stage, the day brought me back to the heart of what I do: caring for people.

Building Hidration has required sacrifice, faith, and hard work. But yesterday reminded me that this is exactly where I am meant to be.

I truly believe God is good. I believe life aligns in ways we may not always understand, and I believe the love, kindness, and care we give to others find their way back to us.

My heart is full. I’m deeply grateful to be a nurse, an entrepreneur, and someone trusted to care for others when they need it most.

This is my purpose, and I feel incredibly blessed to live it. 🙏🏼✨
