Great Hair Day

I think change is in the air. 😉
Barbara has been a client for a couple decades . She has the most gorgeous long hair . I joke around with her that when you have hair that beautiful you don’t own it yourself . Everyone around you thinks they do. You can’t cut it off . But when she came in and said how many inches she wanted to cut off I pressed in a little to make sure that is what she wanted . But I knew it and saw it in her eyes . She wanted this drastic change . She was ready for it . I teased her that even I struggled with cutting off all those inches . 😉 😂
She’s stunning with long hair or shorter hair . And she loves her new length . Beautiful as always . ❤️

I have no before picture but she is beautiful in before and after pics . 😁
But what she needed and wanted was to take some real length off and have long layers and face framing . She’s a new mama and needed that change . I was telling her that that’s right on time actually. If a pregnant mama doesn’t come get a “change” during that last trimester at a time they are wanting it the most …. they usually come in and make some needed changes right about now . 😉❤️
And what makes this one extra special is that her mom was a close friend during high school. How sweet !
And I absolutely love long hair , layers and face framing .

Sometimes a lady needs a change . 😁
Talitha came ready for a drastic change today ! She looks beautiful. ❤️ Her natural curls and waves compliment her new short hair cut . She knew what she wanted and there was no holding back .

This sweet new client that I’ve done a few times gave me permission to use this picture. But no names . 🥰😁👍🏻
When she came to me she was wanting to grow her hair out of short short haircut . And we had a plan of growing and shaping . She was due for another haircut to continue toward our goal but she decided she could get the scissors out and just get to some of the places that were bugging her and flipping out . She had no idea that she took all this off . Plus more on each side of ear . It did effect our original goals. However , I was able to salvage a lot even tho all that growth at the bottom did have to go . And she left looking classic and beautiful.
I wished I would have taken an after picture.
***Moral of the story ….. call me before you get that hankering to pick up your scissors and snip “just a little here and there “. I promise I will get you in and take care of you . Most times those snips don’t work out too well . And many times the person isn’t even aware of what it looks like . But the great news is that I absolutely love repairing and fixing a not so great haircut . It’s fun to me but most of all it’s because I love to make y’all happy and feel good again. It’s a challenge that I’m up for !!!!! ❤️

It’s always good getting to see and visit with Lana. And so proud of her from moving her appointment spaces up from 1 1/2 or more to less than a year . 😉 I love the way we do her hi lights so natural . She looks beautiful!

I think I’ve been Suzie’s hairstylist for a few decades . She is 78 years old ! And she wears it so well ! She’s beautiful! ❤️ Look at that gorgeous hair !

I loved getting to do Naomi’s haircut today . She’s one of my sweet client’s mom. So it was extra special to be able to give her the changes she needed . We even FaceTimed afterward so my client could see her moms new beautiful look. 😁
