Trends come and go. Your face isn’t a trend. I’d rather create results that complement your natural features and still look beautiful years from now.

Facial balance matters. Before recommending filler or Botox®, I look at your features as a whole and consider how one treatment may affect overall harmony.

🚫 Recommend a treatment you don’t need.
Sometimes my recommendation will be “not yet,” “let’s do something different,” or even “I wouldn’t treat that.” My goal is never to sell you the most product—it’s to recommend what I genuinely believe will give you the best result.

👄 Try to make everyone look the same.
Your lips, cheeks, jawline, and facial structure are uniquely yours. Your treatment plan should be too.

Sometimes, achieving beautiful lips means taking a step back before moving forward. 🤍

This beautiful client came to Lone Star Aesthetics after receiving a total of 6 syringes (1 mL each) of lip filler over a 3-year period from other providers. Over time, the filler had migrated beyond the natural borders of her lips, creating distortion, an unbalanced facial appearance, and an overfilled look.

Rather than simply adding more filler, we focused on restoring the foundation first.

Over two separate appointments, we used a total of 600 units of hyaluronidase to carefully dissolve the migrated filler. After allowing her lips several weeks to heal and settle naturally, we rebuilt them with 1 syringe of Juvéderm Ultra (1 mL), respecting her natural anatomy.

At her follow-up appointment, after all swelling had resolved, I carefully evaluated her lip tissue. Years of overfilling had stretched the tissue beyond its natural capacity, leaving areas with a deflated, wrinkled texture. Based on her healing and anatomy, I recommended and placed an additional 1 mL syringe of Juvéderm Ultra to restore healthy support, improve texture, and create a more balanced, natural-looking result.

This case is a great reminder that aesthetic medicine isn't about chasing bigger lips—it's about making the right decisions for long-term health and natural beauty. Sometimes that means dissolving first, allowing the tissue to recover, and rebuilding with intention rather than simply adding more product.
