Dr. Cabral Detox 09/21/2026

🍂 ARE YOU TIRED OF FEELING STUCK? HERE’S WHAT I’M DOING ABOUT IT. 🍂

If you're constantly exhausted, your digestion feels off, you've got unexplained pains, or you just know something needs to shift—you’re not broken. You may be feeling overloaded.

And sometimes, taking ownership of your health means stepping back, paying attention to what your body is telling you, and making intentional changes.

So, I’m getting ready to start the 7-Day Detox from Equi.Life, created by Dr. Stephen Cabral—and I’m inviting you to follow along with me! 💚

Dr. Cabral was my mentor through my Level 2 Integrative Health Practitioner training (which is officially completed! YAY!), and I’m excited to experience this program firsthand and share my journey with you.

🍁 WHY I’M DOING THIS

Over time, we’re exposed to all kinds of things—through our environment, the products we use, the food we eat, and the everyday stressors of life.

I like to think of it like a rain barrel. 🌧️

Imagine your body as a barrel that gradually collects different exposures and stressors. When the barrel is getting full, you might start noticing that things just don’t feel quite right.

For me, I’ve been paying attention to things like facial rashes, breakouts, and ringing in my ears. I’ve been wondering whether my overall toxic load could be one piece of the puzzle.

Of course, symptoms like these can have many different causes, and I don’t assume they all come from toxins. But they’re signals that encourage me to slow down, pay attention, and explore what might be contributing to how I feel.

That’s part of what this reset is about for me: being intentional about supporting my body and creating space for healthier habits.

🌿 WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE 7-DAY PROGRAM?

The program includes a Daily Nutritional Support Shake and two supplements.

The shake is designed to provide nutritional support, including:

✨ 15 grams of vegan, hypoallergenic protein
✨ Vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
✨ A blend of 12 nutritional supplements
✨ Electrolytes
✨ Ingredients intended to support liver detoxification and daily energy

The program also incorporates functional-medicine-inspired ingredients and Ayurvedic herbs intended to support Phase 1 and Phase 2 liver detoxification.

These are the product’s intended benefits—not a promise that everyone will experience the same results. And as always, a detox program isn’t a substitute for medical care or a guarantee of weight loss or symptom improvement.

🗓️ HERE’S HOW THE 7 DAYS WORK

Days 1 & 2: Shake Fast
🥤 Four shakes per day, along with the two supplements.

Days 3–7: Food + Shakes
🥤 Two shakes per day
🥗 Two Paleo-style meals per day
💚 Continue taking the two supplements as directed.

The kit is currently listed at $99. You can check the details and current pricing here:

Please review the program instructions and make sure it’s appropriate for you before starting, especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, or have specific nutritional needs.

💚 MY PERSONAL GOALS

I’m starting at around 114 pounds, and my personal goal is to get back to the 108–110-pound range. At 5ft 1 that's my ideal weight where I feel my best.

I’ve been dealing with a foot injury that has kept me from walking, doing Pilates, and exercising the way I normally would. I’ve noticed a few pounds creep on, and I’m ready to be more intentional about my routines again.

But this isn’t just about a number on the scale.

It’s about checking in with myself, supporting my overall wellness, and being more mindful of the choices I’m making every day.

🤍 I’M TAKING YOU ALONG!

I’ll be sharing updates every couple of days—the good, the hard, and everything in between.

No pretending that every day is easy. No unrealistic promises. Just an honest look at my experience, what I notice, and what I learn along the way.

Because healing happens in layers. And sometimes the next layer starts with simply deciding to take that next step.

🍂 WANT TO DO THIS WITH ME?

If you’re curious about the program and would like some guidance, accountability, and community, send me a DM.

I’d love to hear what you’re working toward and help you explore whether this is a reasonable fit for you.

I’m also exploring ways to bring people together for group wellness programs in the months ahead—because making changes can feel a whole lot more supported when we don’t have to do it alone. 💚

Here’s to listening to our bodies, making intentional choices, and taking ownership of our health—one layer at a time.

Healthy Living. Meaningful Connection. Stronger Community.

Tip of the Day
NEVER USE A LAPTOP ON YOUR LAP. Laptops emit more radiation than desktops – never use one on your lap. EMFs may be reduced (but not completely) by using a mat underneath.

Tip of the Day
CHOOSE GLASS OVER PLASTIC. Switch all plastic tupperware food containers and cups for drinking to glass.

Summer has a way of reminding us that not everything has to be rushed. ☀️

If I’m honest, this season has been reminding me of that too.

I’m learning to enjoy slower mornings, evening walks, time with friends, and moments where I don’t feel like I have to be checking something off my to-do list.

Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do isn’t add another supplement, workout, or task to our day. Sometimes it’s simply giving our nervous system permission to slow down.

Rest isn’t falling behind—it’s part of healing.

This summer, I’m choosing to make room for both purpose and peace. I hope you’ll do the same. 💛

Healing happens in layers.

The Heart Health Number Almost Nobody Knows (But Everyone Should Know) — El is 4 Life 06/06/2026

A few weeks ago, I got a phone call that stopped me in my tracks.

A dear friend of mine had an artery that was nearly 80% blocked.

Eighty percent.

What began as "something doesn't feel quite right" turned into a discovery that could have changed his life forever.

That phone call sent me down a research rabbit hole, and what I found honestly shocked me.

Did you know there is a heart health marker called the Omega-3 Index?

Most people know their cholesterol.

Many know their blood pressure.

Some know their blood sugar.

But almost nobody knows their Omega-3 Index.

Yet research has shown that people with an Omega-3 Index above 8% (my mentor Dr. Cabral recommends aiming for 9%) may have up to a 90% lower risk of sudden cardiac death compared to people with low levels.

Not 10%.

Not 20%.

Ninety percent.

The problem?

The average American is sitting around 4–5%.

That's why I've become so passionate about helping people understand this number.

You don't get the benefit simply by taking a fish oil supplement.

You get the benefit by reaching the 9% level.

That's a very different conversation. I'll teach you how.

In my newest blog post, I share:

💗 The heart health number almost nobody knows

💗 Why I think everyone should know theirs

💗 The research that surprised me

💗 The role of omega-3s, diet, and proteolytic enzymes

💗 What I personally recommend people explore

If you've ever had heart disease, high cholesterol, inflammation, a family history of cardiac issues, or simply want to be proactive with your health, I think you'll find it fascinating.

When “I” Becomes “WE”: Why Community and Relationships Matter for Healing

When we’re struggling with our health, it’s easy to focus on what we need to do next.

The next supplement.

The next lab test.

The next protocol.

The next appointment.

And while those things can absolutely be important, there is another piece of healing that often gets overlooked:

Connection.

Illness has a way of isolating us.

When we’re not feeling well, our world can become smaller. We may have less energy to socialize, less capacity to participate in activities we once enjoyed, and fewer opportunities to connect with others. Sometimes we withdraw because we’re exhausted. Sometimes we withdraw because we don’t feel understood. And sometimes we simply don’t have the energy to explain what we’re experiencing.

Over time, that isolation can become its own burden.

Many people navigating chronic symptoms, health challenges, or difficult seasons find themselves carrying not only physical discomfort but also loneliness, discouragement, and the feeling that they have to figure everything out on their own.

But wellness rarely grows in isolation.

Human beings were created for connection. We are wired for relationship. Research continues to show that supportive relationships can positively influence resilience, emotional well-being, stress levels, and overall quality of life.

While relationships may not remove every challenge, they can help us carry those challenges differently.

Sometimes healing looks like a friend who checks in.

Sometimes it’s someone who listens without trying to fix everything.

Sometimes it’s a support group that reminds you you’re not the only person walking this path.

Sometimes it’s a neighbor who joins you for a walk.

Sometimes it’s simply knowing someone cares.

At El is 4 Life, I often remind clients that healing happens in layers.

Nutrition matters.

Sleep matters.

Movement matters.

Stress regulation matters.

But relationships matter, too.

Having people who encourage us, support us, and remind us there is hope can be an important part of creating an environment where healing feels possible.

Connection doesn’t have to be complicated.

You don’t need dozens of close friendships.

You don’t need a packed social calendar.

Often, one or two safe, supportive relationships can make a meaningful difference.

If you’re looking to create more connection in your life, consider starting with one small step:

• Call a friend instead of texting.

• Attend a local support group.

• Meet someone for coffee.

• Take a walk with a neighbor.

• Volunteer for a cause you care about.

• Join a book club.

• Take a fitness, yoga, or art class.

• Attend community events in your area.

• Schedule a regular family dinner.

• Reach out to someone you’ve lost touch with.

• Join a gardening club.

• Participate in a hobby group.

• Invite someone over for tea.

• Send an encouraging note or card.

• Find an online community centered around a shared interest.

• Spend time with a beloved pet or animals.

• Attend networking or professional groups.

• Join a walking or hiking group.

• Strike up a conversation at a local coffee shop, farmers market, or community event.

• Simply sit with someone and listen.

• Attend laughter yoga.

Small moments of connection can have a bigger impact than we realize.

If you’re in a difficult season right now, let this be your reminder:

You do not have to navigate it alone.

Healing isn’t just about what we take, what we eat, or what we do.

Sometimes healing begins when “I” becomes “WE.”

Because healing happens in layers, but it rarely happens in isolation.

Your body responds to kindness.

And sometimes that kindness comes from the people who walk beside us.

For years, I thought healing was about finding the next missing piece.

The next supplement.

The next protocol.

The next answer.

What I eventually learned is that healing often happens through layers of support. Sometimes that includes nutrition, reducing toxic load, addressing infections, improving sleep, supporting the nervous system, and creating simple daily experiences that help the body feel safe.

In my newest blog, I'm sharing 15 simple "safety signals" that may support healing and recovery.

Because healing is rarely one-dimensional.
