After taking some much-needed time to enjoy motherhood and adjust to life with my baby girl, I’m slowly easing back into the salon. I’ve missed my clients, doing hair, and honestly just being in my element.

For now, I’ll be taking appointments on Mondays + Fridays from 1 PM–6 PM. Availability will be intentionally limited while I work my way back into a full schedule, so if you see an appointment you want, grab it!

Your Fall Hair Checklist

The weather is changing, and your hair usually notices before you do.

Cooler weather can mean drier hair, so this is the season to be a little more intentional about moisture and protection.
Keep your hair moisturized, don't skip wash day just because you're wearing protective styles, sleep with a satin bonnet or pillowcase, and give your hair a break from excessive heat when possible.

TMB Tip: If your hair has been feeling extra dry lately, don't automatically reach for more oil. Your hair may need water + conditioning first. Oil can help seal moisture in, but it doesn't replace moisture.

Healthy hair first. The style comes second. 💚

❌ HAIR MYTH vs. FACT

MYTH:

“Washing my hair more often will make it grow faster.”

FACT:
Washing alone doesn't make your hair grow faster. A healthy routine that supports your scalp and helps you retain the hair you're growing is what makes the difference.

Moisture + gentle cleansing + conditioning + trims + low-manipulation styling = the real recipe.

Because we are NOT holding onto split ends in the name of “length.” 😂

Good news—construction is finished and parking is back to normal!
There is 2-hour parking in the lot, and street parking is $3.50 per 2 hours.
For longer appointments, I'll cover your first 4 hours of street parking. Please keep track of your time because parking enforcement does ticket.

Coming back to work looks a little different for me now.

I'm still your stylist and business owner, but I'm also somebody's mama now. 🥹 I'm learning how to balance both without rushing myself back into everything at once.

And YES — she is officially TeeMariee Beauty Certified.💚✨

That means she has worked alongside me, learned my standards, and I personally trust her with the services I’ve made available on her books. If you see a service available to book with MaKayla, just know I am 100% confident in her ability to take care of you.💕
