Mamabear Massage & Float

She grew. I grew. This business grew.

One last minute opening for tomorrow due to cancellation at 12:30pm for a 60min float or 90min massage. Message directly to claim slots with less then 24hr notice 💆‍♀️

I know I've been quiet lately but for good reason. It has been a whirlwind of a week. Really a whirlwind of a year but here we are hanging on! Since taking on the chesterton space last September there were some positives, but ultimately I was struggling to keep that place supporting itself due to the cost of rent there. I trusted some business moves that maybe weren't the best although it was a gorgeous space, I thought for sure with massage added it would do better and I do truly believe it could've but the reality is I was shorted handed massage wise most of the year and can only be in so many places at one time. Since closing the 2nd location (which was a huge exhausting task in itself) then dealing with storms and power outages and being limited to working on one client at a time in the small upstairs valpo location. I have been silently struggling booking 2-3 weeks out.. sounds great until the numbers aren't mathing now back to working on only one person at a time again. And clients being angry I can't squeeze them in sooner unless someone cancels. Trust me we heard you loud and clear and understood with only one space we NEEDED to be able to offer floats and massage at the same time without just being a couples session lol 🙃

SO by the grace of god I stumbled upon this gorgeous property that is zoned both commercial and residential which is why it looks like a home. It fits just the right needs/size. Having the float and massage room separated vs the current setup of having to walk through the massage room to get to float room will allow for essentially twice the amount of bookings in the same amount of time- again which should cut down some wait time for getting new and old clients in sooner. Don't mind the half unpacked pics. Looking forward to drum circles in the back and it's along side a salmon creek just a mile from downtown valpo. The transition will be complete by the end of October. In the meantime all your current appointments will still be at our upstairs location downtown.

Thanking God everyday for the pivots needed at just the right times. Looking forward to this new chapter and more news to come. And the biggest plus laundry on site! Been lugging laundry back and forth for almost 3 years in small valpo location lol and no more coins/extra payment like with chesterton so could not be happier with that addition as well! God is good! Course correcting one day at a time with a vision that feels more aligned to keep things high quality and cozy 🙏

(Float tank will go where taped, they are working on reinforcing floors)

It's simple really 💆‍♀️ 💆‍♂️

Can confirm and while calculating how we are gonna level out this situation 😆
