Your support person doesn’t have to know everything about breastfeeding.

They can help by:

* Bringing water or a snack during a feeding
* Helping with pump parts and bottles
* Taking over another household task
* Learning your feeding goals before baby arrives
* Encouraging you when feeding feels hard
* Helping you find professional support instead of telling you to “just push through”

Mother’s Magical Milk’s latest Milk Moments newsletter also highlights the role partner support can play in breastfeeding success.

And this is exactly why prenatal education matters before baby arrives.

Mother’s Magical Milk offers FREE prenatal breastfeeding classes, and moms are encouraged to attend with a support person.

Expecting a baby? Don’t wait until you’re trying to figure everything out at 2 AM. Start learning now.

Back to school hits a little different when you’re a breastfeeding or pumping mama. 🥴🎒🍼

The alarm is earlier.

Everybody needs something.

Lunches need packing.

Kids need to get out the door.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that…you still have to remember YOU have a feeding or pumping schedule too.

As families settle back into school routines, remember that changes in schedules can affect feeding and pumping routines too.

Give yourself time to adjust. Prepare what you can the night before, communicate your pumping needs at work, and don’t panic if the first few days don’t go perfectly.

New routines take time for everybody. 💜

And to all of the parents, teachers, school staff, and little ones starting a new school year today, Happy First Day of School from Mother’s Magical Milk! 📚✨

💬 Parents, how did your first morning back go? Be honest. 😂👇
