she's back in my chair and this is her new hair!
My mom's goal was to be lighter and have less harsher root growout.
Before we would do a high lift all over color because she doesn't like her natural color and likes to be blonde.
So after bouncing ideas around about changing her color up, we settled on a full highlight, lowlight and tone using and for color. and foils!
This way her roots can be incorporated to look almost like a shadow root and the growout will be a bit more blended.
I opted for lowlights to create dimension and slight contrast.
This was a very tedious process (in a good way) because she has fine, delicate hair so I didn't want to push her hair. I worked in sections of her hair and rinsed when they were done processing. We used A TON of foils.
We also cut her hair slightly angled and layered the back for lots of sass and movement. We added a total of 4 clip ins from for thickness and curled her hair with our favorite straightener.
She hasn't curled her hair in years and it was so nice to see her happy to do so. π₯Ή
I think her hair turned out beautiful. She is so beautiful inside and out β€οΈ

This was my first time doing this beauty's hair. She wanted straight/wavy hair and less frizz. Her starting point was naturally coily and highlighted.

I love this treatment. Not only have I used it on my own hair but it has made so many clients' lives much easier when it comes to their hair!
