Your girl is officially SPRAY TAN CERTIFIED!

This is something I put a lot of thought and research into before deciding to add it to ShadesbyPaige. I realized there really aren’t many brick and mortar spray tanning options in our area as the majority are mobile. While mobile tanning is great, I kept thinking about the people who don’t necessarily want someone coming into their home. Maybe you have babies or pets and don’t want the spray or fumes around them, your living situation doesn’t allow for it, or you simply feel more comfortable going into a professional studio.

And I thought… why not?! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I personally LOVE getting spray tans and oddly enough, spray tanning came SO naturally to the wrist during training (maybe permanent makeup has a little something to do with that 😉😂).

Need a little time to prepare the tanning room so come the New Year, spray tanning will officially be available to book on my website!

Before officially launching, I’ll be looking for spray tan models at a discounted price while I get some practice in and build my portfolio! If you’re interested, COMMENT BELOW! 👇🏼

YOUR GIRL IS OFFICIALLY NANO BROW CERTIFIED! ✨

As a permanent makeup artist and business owner, I believe continuing education is SO important. This industry is constantly evolving, and I never want to stop learning, improving, and investing in my craft.

You are trusting me with your face, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I will always continue investing in my education, my business, and most importantly, YOU, so I can continue giving you the safest techniques and the best results possible.

As PMU continues to evolve, so do the techniques we use. Microblading paved the way for beautiful hair-stroke brows, but newer techniques like Powder Brows and Nano Brows allow us to create gorgeous, long-lasting results while being gentler on the skin.

Nano Brows create realistic hair strokes using a machine rather than a manual blade. This technique is gentler on the skin, creates less trauma, and is all around better long term than Microblading.

With that being said… I will officially be retiring Microblading from my service menu and replacing it with Nano Brows!

Fresh vs. HEALED 💋

This is exactly why I always say: trust the healing process. Lip blush starts off brighter and warmer immediately after your appointment, but as it heals, the color softens, cools down, and settles into a much more natural shade. And these ombré lips?!

Back in March, Kelsey, someone I had known since high school, reached out to me about getting her eyebrows done. She had been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and one thing she was determined not to let cancer take from her was her brows.

I told her right then that they were my gift to her. She offered to pay me, but there was absolutely no way I was taking a penny. With the fight she was facing, making her feel beautiful was the smallest thing I could do.

Today, I found out that Kelsey lost her battle with cancer. I cried when I heard the news. I had prayed so hard for her, and my heart just broke knowing how hard she fought.

Kelsey and I had some really deep, meaningful conversations during the time she spent with me. The kind of conversations you don’t forget. I feel incredibly grateful that our paths crossed again and that my job gave me the opportunity to know her in a way I hadn’t before.

I thank God every day for giving me this gift, but days like today remind me just how much it means. What I do may seem like “just eyebrows” to some people, but sometimes it gets to be so much more than that. Sometimes it allows me to give someone a small piece of themselves back when life is taking so much from them.

To Kelsey’s family and everyone who loved her, my heart is with you. She was beautiful inside and out, and I will always be honored that she trusted me to be a small part of her story and that I was able to make her feel beautiful during such an unimaginably difficult time.

Powder Brows ✨

This client had her brows microbladed 10+ years ago. Although you can’t see much, there was still a shadow left over, but nothing I couldn’t work around. She was tired of filling in her brows and really liked the look of a powder brows so that’s what we went with. Obsessed with how these turned out and can’t wait to see how they heal.
